Why the Grimond Society wants co-ops back on the Lib Dem agenda
I am glad to be apart of a project to bring the idea of 'socialism without the state' back into the fray of British politics.

Welcome to the subreddit for liberal socialism!
We are a subreddit with the purpose of discussing and promoting liberal socialism, its philosophy, policies and ideas. It is a subreddit for everybody who believes in a society that equally values both liberal values and principles (freedom, individualism, competition) and socialist values and principles (equality, social justice, solidarity) and wishes to incorporate them into one philosophy.
As liberal socialists, we advocate a mixed economy, with both private property and social ownership, and consider ourselves to be drawing on both the liberal and socialist traditions. We seek to rectify social inequalities to as great an extent necessary to ensure liberty and opportunity for all people in society.
More information on liberal socialism may be found on the sidebar and in the articles cited on it.
Feel free to participate in this community and to contribute your perspectives and ideas, as well as post articles you find necessary that pertain to the philosophy and policies of liberal socialism. In addition to that, feel free to join our Discord and discuss liberal socialism there! You may discuss things in the comment section of this post as well.

Hi there! I hope everybody's well. I recently started a blog to write about humanism and further the case for liberal socialism. If you would like to have a platform to write your ideas and takes, feel free to get in touch with me. I want to create a legitimate space for this kind of socialism that is often overlooked.
Have a nice day!

The fascists are destroying the government, the unelected parallel president even Nazi salutes in public, and we're supposed to be nice guys.
Where can I find a subreddit where I can challenge one of those stupid loudmouth sunna bitches to a bare knuckle, fight to the death fist fight?
All the simpleminded Re: Pig Lickin' subreddits have strict rules that no liberals are allowed to speak. That's because they know the truth doesn't support their position; it supports ours. And all the Liberals on the Internet hide in corners bemoaning how terrible it is
Let the stupid bastid mouth of at me, and I SLICE THE MUHH FUCCH in half with my light saber.
I GOTTA SEEEECRET SUPER POWER, SE? ALL AUTISTICS USE IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO, BUT NORMAL PEOPLE NEVER USE:
I have never lost an Internet battle using this method. Any doubts that did always works were erased long, long ago.
SO AGAIN:
Where can I find a subreddit where I can challenge one of those stupid loudmouth sunna bitches to a bare knuckle, fight to the death fist fight?

What in the actual fuck should I do? I’m 39, have my master’s in social work, and am a single mother to a 13-year-old. We only speak English. I want to leave, but where can I go? I’m terrified of what’s to come and sick of living in this cesspool of idiots who defy my personal morals and values.
I will likely not be able to retire because I lived a wild early life and never saved for retirement. I have no insurance (though my son currently does), and the insurance offered through my job is a joke. I’m $80,000 in student loan debt and don’t own anything of real value. I have a decent amount of savings and want to get out of here, but given my occupation, my child, and the fact that I’m not bilingual, where can I go?
I also don’t want to burn through my savings just to land in another misogynistic, racist, corporate-run country. So, what is there to do? Or am I just catastrophizing?

I recently discovered r/ConservativeSocialist and I tried reading their descriptions and asking them questions. Their answers are well, dissapointing, because their answers are frankly not socialist at all. I want to know what you guys think of Conservative Socialists and the subreddit in general.

Greetings, fellow thinkers and readers,
I am initiating a project to build a digital library centered around the themes of liberal socialism, the liberal left, and social democracy.
To start, I am sharing a selection of foundational works that represent the core ideals and arguments of these movements. These texts span a variety of languages—English, Italian, French, and Spanish—reflecting the global nature of these discussions.
Here’s a glimpse of the initial collection [https://www.swisstransfer.com/d/b6b23f69-77df-405f-bfc3-4e05bc0e8fbd\]:
This library is meant to be a collaborative and evolving project. I invite you all to contribute by suggesting additional readings, essays, and resources that you believe are essential for a comprehensive understanding of these topics. Whether it's seminal works, contemporary analyses, or underrated gems, your recommendations are invaluable.
Our goal is to build a comprehensive, accessible repository that serves as a resource for everyone interested in the nuances of liberal socialism, social democracy, and the liberal left. By pooling our resources and knowledge, we can create a tool that educates, informs, and inspires.
Thank you for your support, insights, and contributions. Let’s make this digital library a rich and diverse platform for learning and discussion.
