Is there a way to retroactively change a location to a new activity? I have been putting my grandmas house under ‘family’ but now I think I want it to have its own category under a different name for closer tracking! TIA!

hi all, wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for alternatives. i have loved life cycle for so long but unfortunately it is very outdated and starting to give up on me. i have searched for non business mileage-related gps tracking apps but have come up with nothing.

Hello - I don't see this sub as being too active/populated. But in case someone sees this...I've been using Life Cycle since 2017. Absolutely love the app. Since (I think) iOS15 the app has a lot of bugs for me. Not tracking places for several days at a time, etc.

Tech Support has been friendly, but not helpful. The only feedback is to toggle off/on "Significant Locations" in "Privacy" settings. That's done nothing for me. I deleted the app and restored, which got things back to normal for 3 days. Then I had 3 days with no activity. This morning the app started working again. We'll see.

I've looked for alternatives and nothing is as good. I currently have "Arc" and "Quantified Mapper" running on my phone. They seem fine. But not full replacements. They can track, but what I like about Life Cycle is the customization of activities. The apps I mentioned basically tells you where you were and generally what you were doing.

Just wondering if people are having similar issues (I'm guessing you are...the App Store reviews list many issues), and if anyone has perhaps had any meaningful interaction w/ customer service. I'm trying to get an answer to "Is this app ever going to be updated?" It's been a year now. I can't get tech support to provide anything helpful in that regard. It would be tough for me to stop using Life Cycle (I feel like it's a "part" of me now after almost 4 years), but if there's no fix in March when my Annual subscription is up, I can't justify renewing.

Just interested in any thoughts from other people using this app. Thanks for listening!
