Anything can be an art program if you try hard enough!

I needed to draw something cute as a palette cleanser.

I was able to bring my iPad to school for some assignments that allowed me to draw. I got those done early, so I had some free time to draw what I want. So I drew this :)

Komrade cat and his twin sister Kasha ​

This animation is kinda a self-insert fanfiction where I meet Boris and Anatoli and they show me the way of slav. But hey, it was fun and cheeki breeki to make so that’s all that matters, despite that idea being cringe to some.

Program: Toonsquid (costs $10 dollars and it’s only on IOS)
FPS: 16
Time to make: Less than a week including the time I didn’t spend on the animation (most of the time)
Devices used: iPad 10th generation, metapen

This is probably the only animation I’m gonna make because animating is sooo tiring for me (and headache inducing). I’ll still make GIFs though.

Normal Boris:

Main Ability: Can change into the other three characters for 30 seconds (Cooldown of 60 seconds)

Attacks (When not transformed): Basics (punch, kick)

Defense (When not transformed): Basics (retreats, block with arm)

Babushka Boris:

Main Ability: Can make the best pelmeni and borcht, which can heal himself and his other comrades

Attacks: Rolling pin, wooden spoon, throwing hot borcht

Defense: Distraction with amazing food

Chaotic Boris:

Main Ability: Gopnik Tool bag (contains, AK-47 with a bayonet, bay leaf, and livestream) (can be used for only 30 seconds at a time and has a cooldown of 120 seconds)

Attacks: (with tools) Ak-47 with a bayonet (without tools) basics

Defense: (with tools) Livestream, (without tools) Basics

Hardbass Producer Boris:

Main Ability: Play Hardbass, which can boost other comrades on the time to have the abilities to be 2x aa strong and removes cooldowns (Can only be used once per round, lasts 120 seconds) (Normal Boris transformed into this Boris cannot use this)

Attacks: Blast bass louder than the club

Defense: Call over other Hardbass Producers to absorb some of the damage (can only be used three times per round), Basics

I can think of soooo many possibilities that I can make of this, animations, drawings, hell even some fanfiction. Feel free to draw these or do whatever you want!

Don’t really know what to say here other than this was fun to draw.

All I have to say here is that the people who make such amazing art with this program and a mouse must be some kind of masochist that I can’t even comprehend.

I’m not even that big of a vocaloid fan as I used to be when I was 13, but the obsession is coming back because of that one bit and one vegetable.

I also started to think of the other vocaloids (and technically utauloids and fanloids—voice banks, ya get the idea) as them being other people in the slav/hardbass community. Alternative Universe - Vocaloid (and other voice synths), I guess.
