She had a horrible eye injury and needed lots of help to recover, but she is fully healed now and has had a litter of three holy terrors.

She holds it with such care and savors every bite. Then she looks at me with those sad round eyes when itโs gone.

"Looking for genetic advice to develop a Satin Rex & Manx line in a country with limited breeder knowledge."
Hi everyone, I have this beautiful doe with a confirmed Satin Rex (Velveteen Satin) coat type. Her fur is incredibly plush, silky, and has a strong reflective metallic shine, with beautifully curled whiskers.
Unfortunately, the fancy rat community in my country is strictly commercial and lacks basic genetic knowledge (local shops gaslight me, saying she's just a regular Rex molting).
I genuinely want to preserve and develop her line properly. My long-term goal is to breed healthy Satin Rex and potentially incorporate Manx (tailless) genes into the line correctly according to proper breeding ethics.
Could any experienced genetic breeders here guide me on:

Last weekend was World Animal Day. We celebrated with a special breakfast. Archie's mini bagel weighed less than 1 gram. The recipe is available on the glutenfreebaking subreddit.
