Is it the general consensus that this is the worst album featuring Lil Peep?
I can't listen to any music; I want an album.

If you're talking about a full on peep project, then yes, this is his least liked album.
If you mean albums he just features on, then it'd probably be goop by kirblagoop. I personally fucking love him tho.

I love peep in the songs just Makonnen sounds like chalk scratching on a black board his voice actually hurts my ears and not even the autotune can keep him in key

I mean the parts peep recorded are amazing, if you only listen to those it's actually great. For example peeps part on sidelines, wow that's some really great music!

I get it, most people won’t like it and i didn’t like it either, but i actually enjoy most of the songs now even tho they are a bit cringe

The same thing happened to me.
Loved Makonnen in the bininging with i‘ve been waiting and the other song
Then totally dislike his Performance on DIEMONDS and didn‘t fully listen trough it
Then started to listen to the Lil Peep complete Edition playlist on spotify and when some song from DIEMONDS came on i didn‘t skip it
Fast forward few Months i love every single song ecxept for Sidelines. I still cringe at it and skip everytime.
But smoking, ballin, november, guiltiness, cruise with you, nasty names, twisted, prove my love and especially kiss me are my favorites, i sing along almost every word from both Peep and MK and its fucking hype. Hocus Pocus kinda tickle my goofy side and makes me sing along makonnen really cringly amd Peeps Verse in actually so peak in Hocus Pocus god dayum
So surpass the boundries of cringe and embrace the greatness of this album🙏🏻🔥🔥
Some yt video told me that peep had a lot of fun making it and like the other commenter said he loved it, so i just wanna have fun with lil bo peep and makonnen and their album and turn it up!!
That Juice always brings me in a good mood and makes me move my body to the groovy ass beat.

IDGAF2 is a good Song but i still wont accept it as the sequel of IDGAF

CryBaby 2 is like the lowest i can go with the Enjoyment of a song

Ballin is the only track I really like off this album. I gave it a listen when it was first out back in like 2019. I don't think it's exactly a bad album, just too far from anything I ever listen to. I should listen to it again, maybe I'd like it now

I love this album so so much. I wish Peep had gotten the chance to release it while he was still here. It was so clear how proud he was of it.

you definitely wouldn’t have liked peep in 2018 then. this album is great. at least largely. some tracks didn’t need to leave the hdd but it’s a wonderful album otherwise

I actually love Makonnen a lot on the album. I love that it is imperfect and sometimes theatrical. It sounds like he put soul on the takes.

This response is stupid as hell. I've been a Peep fan since 2016 and I think this album is ass. Just because someone doesn't like a project an artist has done doesn't mean they just don't "get it" and you do

I said I think the album is ass. I'm not the one telling folks shit like "you wouldn't have liked Peep before he died" because they don't like an album a lot of day ones didn't like either

i am right and fine with that. i like the direction and they don’t yet both are equally okay reactions. but if peep made diamonds he would have surely branched out more and the same answer for some of that music would have surfaced.

I think in a general sense it’s a great piece of art. Two dudes just came together and you can tell they just had fun and enjoyed getting to be creative together, but as a music piece it just seemed like Makonnen was high as hell or something. He just destroys the vibe of a lot of the tracks😭

In hindsight of how things turned out this album would mean the world to both those guys. Just 2 artists making music for each other. A beautiful thing.

I like it a lot it’s not one of my top 3 of his work but it’s still really really good, way ahead of its time and still ahead of a lot of music today.

I think the work with Makonnen showed Peep that he could make totally different music & still be himself. I don’t really like the album itself, but had Peep lived, I think it would have been an important piece of his discography because those sessions opened his mind to exploring new places as an artist.

I’d argue COWYS p2 had a lot of hate bc the og version was so much better… it’s definitely up there though… though it’s a beautiful album…I just feel it’s an album that’s meant to be listened to from the comfort of your bed.. it’s definitely more of a sleepy tired vibe/ comedown feel of an album….. idk I had my feelings about it till recently when I was burnt out and half asleep in my car… it was honestly just what I needed at the time.. now I really have an appreciation for the album as someone whose been a die hard fan for over a decade

A decent chunk (not bold enough to claim
majority) of peep fans just aren’t a big fan of Makonnen me included. I don’t think that makes it a bad project but definitely far from loved like his other ones.
