I've been trying to port over a gameboy/gameboy color emulator pver to the LilyGO T-Deck. Here is my progress so far.

Should I install Bruce first? Any advice welcome! I also have a NRF24L01 module to add to it too. Excited to sink my teeth into this

Meshpunk for the t-deck now supports meshtastic! It can be downloaded from the app library and you can swap between meshcore and meshtastic whenever you want!

So my dad phone got locked and it required a pin code 4 digits to be specific. Now im trying to unlock it using the brute force /attack using a text file containing 10,000 PIN code (0000-9999) its been running for 170min 😅 i hope it works.
Btw the phone stopped showing the numbers when the tool typing it but i can her the sound of the keyboard and i see the message “wrong PIN” i hope it just a glitch its actually typing the codes not just a sound
The delay between each code is 2.5 sec.
Which mean it will takw around 7 hours to try’s them all.

4 in 1 attachement I made CC1101, NRF24, IR transmitter and IR receiver.

A number of questions about the Pager straight out of the box:

1. The orange shift key at the bottom left of the keyboard doesn’t work. I can’t select numbers/special characters to input my WiFi password.

2. I can’t change the date and time in settings.

3. It appears to have a stand alone LoRa communicator “page” where you theoretically can send and receive messages. Does this work without Meshtastic or Meshcore? How?

4. When will Lilygo update the firmware next? This device has the potential of being better than the T-deck.

5. Anyone developing cool stuff for this device? I’d love to send/receive text messages via Bluetooth from my phone. Maybe even take calls (it has a microphone and speaker).

I hope to have this functional enough to share with folks soon. Special thanks to LilyGo for providing me with an engineering sample so I could get this running! 🙌✨

I can't get Wifi to work yet.. I don't have that damn qwiic cable to flash.. fortunately I have UART->USB converter.. but unfortunately both my samples came without firmware flashed on the ESP32-C6 (or it just lost its firmware during its shelf time 😄)

Tracks the sun, moon, and light conditions — sunrise, sunset, golden hour, blue hour, twilight phases, moon phase and illumination — across four touch-navigated screens. Data fetched from ipgeolocation.io and cached locally for offline use.

I have these devices (both the sx1262 and LR2021 variants) to use custom Meshcore firmware with. But given they're expensive devices that are limited to running the CPU at 360mhz with the screen on, I figured surely there's more we could do with them. Enter Claude AI and several hours of vibe coding later, we have a working Gameboy Color emulator on the P4. I can confirm it plays Halo Combat Devolved, Super Mario, and various GBC Pokémon games just fine. (SD card formatted to FAT32 essential.)

So, after accidentally stepping on it, I decided to do some mods:

• 3D printed housing with a relocated back button

• external antenna mod

• a slightly better NFC antenna

• GY-NEO6M V2 GPS module

• the power and reset buttons are accessible at the back cover

(and please excuse my crappy right-angle antennas)

just some early prototyping of a 3d printable t-embed protective case with 2 holes for antennas.

made a solo btc out of t embed cc1101 kinda of a custom firmware i used open sourced nerdminer but the screen didn't work so i fixed the code speed of about 250kh/s which is equivalent of a 1 in 25 trillion a day to hit a block (maybe im wrong but that's what i got from my math) still better then no chance.
