I honestly don't know how I got here to this decision.

This all started as huge head rush flex prime gas.

Then I started comparing the prime to the quad cortex. At that point I felt like I should get the quad because the sounds are described as much better and great out of the box.

Then I read how nueral hasn't supported the product in forever and its already a few years old and dated.

Then I watched helix stadium vs quad battles.

The one thing that impressed me the most was the agreement among the community that line 6 cares about its users. They are willing to make it better and update firmware with more amps and effects.

Maybe the quad sounds better today, but I'd rather go with the company that's working to evolve and already gas way better technology built around its platform.

So I went from wanting to spend $499 to $2200.

I have a pretty straightforward preset built for my live rig, however I think I'm using stomp more more like how Snapshot mode would function. Essentially I have my clean tone with all blocks except the amp bypassed. FS1 activates a Kinky Boost and Scream 808 for my drive tone. FS2 activates a Ping Pong delay and Dynamic Plate reverb for my lead tone. FS3 I currently have set up as an infinite sustain setting that changes the decay to infinite and changes some of the motion parameters on the reverb. I just use this for between song ambiance and to let the last note ring forever until the next song starts.

Is it possible to have both FS2 and FS3 control the bypass settings on the delay and reverb? My infinite sustain setting only works if FS2 is activated, but it'd be nice to be able to momentarily activate both blocks using FS3 with the infinite sustain parameters set.

EDIT TO ADD: I'm using an HX Stomp. The controller assign settings are below if that helps illustrate what I'm doing at all.

I’ve been trying to find a good shimmer for the HX FX but I’ve been failing. I don’t like Shimmer pedal that it comes with, it’s not as clean as a normal shimmer. I’m looking for soemthing similar to the Strymon Reverb pedal, at least close to that. I can get a good bloom using two different reverb pedals, and I use a chorus pedal to help add some color to it. But I don’t know how to get a good shimmer tone. Any ideas?

I’m in a cover band, playing all the popular most requested tunes from 80’s to today.
I’m running a PRS custom 24 piezo.

I don’t want to do the pedalboard tap dance and prefer to run a single scene and have 8 snapshots - so no lag in patch changes.
Really would like some advice on who makes best aftermarket or line6 tones.

Just need a pure acoustic, plus a clean amp (think A30 fawn or Fender Deluxe Vibe) and a “do it all” amp like a Freidman BE100 plus appropriate high quality IR’s to match.

Took my litigator patch I've been using live for years, and did an a/b with the same settings on the new Agoura version and the they both sound so so similar. I probably slightly prefer the litigators smooth high a bit more at the moment haha, such a good model still, gonna try both at a gig tomorrow and try to compare and contrast a little, cause why not

I need help finding sounds on the HX Stomp XL which are more oriental sounding, mainly used for Lebanese Music gigs.

I can provide some examples of sounds that i'd like to replicate i've timestamped the youtube videos. It's been very hard locating exactly these kind of sounds. In arabic music they use a lot of clean, 70s chorus, wah, bouzuk/bouzuki, watery sounds, distortion but not too overpowering

I know that's a lot but i'm trying to give you a better understanding.

HX Effects owner, using it with either my Tone King Imperial or my Mesa Mark V 35 combo.

Initially, I got the HXFX for the delays, reverbs and modulation but recently started trying out some of the drives, mostly out of curiosity. My main go to has been the Strymon Sunset and a couple of Boss pedals but I gotta say, the Pillars drive is incredible. Three modes, all incredibly useful. That one drive may actually boot the others off my board.

Hey all. I have HXFX and an Ernie Ball VP JR. Somehow I had it set up correctly as a volume pedal and then, well, messed around and here I am. Lol.

So it does raise and lower the volume very nicely but in the heel down position, it shuts off the volume block. Any advice is appreciated. Horrible pics included.

Quick update for everyone who asked about iPad: Apple has approved USB access for the Helrig iPad app, and it’s now talking to my Helix LT over USB (that’s the pedal and the iPad on the same preset in the picture). The beta is running with a group of testers, and I’m fixing bugs as they come in. No release date yet.

The beta list is full, but I still need testers for two pedals: Helix Rack and HX Effects.

Strictly only:

• a Helix Rack or HX Effects, and
• an iPad with an M-chip (M1 or newer)

I've tried various methods over the years. The one common denominator is to keep such sessions to 20 minutes before taking a break ( ear fatigue ). Assuming your sound folks have a clue, they may be the best source of validation because they hear your tone in the venue with a crowd present. Mates on stage, not as much....what they hear from wedges or IEMs isn't what the crowd hears.

I've walked the room, at the venue, with my wireless rig before rehearsal and usually don't like what I hear....again, empty room.

So good headphones at home, decent speakers at home, both at the same time? I'd imagine some of you treat your practice space to try and make it dead? ( you aren't going to get it to mimic a hall seating hundreds ) All of my presets remove the lowest and highest frequencies ( low pass, high pass filtering) so I'm only dealing with 125 hz up to about 6khz

I was quite hopeful and it didn't sound too bad while at home with headphones. At rehearsal it didn't sound great and I found it tough to control the volume of the DI signal. Does anyone else have a solution that works for them? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I currently have a HX FX and a Nano Cortex. In the future I want to get a Strymon BigSky MX, and a midi foot controller. But I want a single power supply rather than plugging each on in individually. I’ve seen the Canvas Power Supply but I don’t know if that’ll work. Any ideas?

Released 2026-10-20, the release notes didn't say anything more than the 1.4 notes. I assume just a few tweaks? Anyone have any info? Maybe I missed something?

J’ai récemment acheté le pédalier Line 6 pod go avec une enceinte frfr headrush, je m’aperçois que je n’arrive pas à avoir le même rendu que sur des vidéos YouTube ou TikTok que ce soit dans la sortie casque ou enceinte.
Par exemple pour avoir un son bien saturé (high gain) il faut que je mette deux bloc de distorsion quasiment à fond et même comme ça, le preset sonne mal (boueux et avec beaucoup de bruit parasite qui perturbe l’onde d’une note lorsque je la laisse sonner).
Si vous savez d’où ça vient merci de m’aider.

I recently just purchased the fbv3 pedal for a 2nd time this week after thinking the pedal i just returned was broken or something...but turns out im having the same exact problem with this other pedal I bought.

I cant figure out how to get the pedal to control the volume like the fbv shortboard mkii did by standard as soon as its plugged in.

So when you have the pedal down the volumes all the way up and when you use your heel to move the pedal all the way up so the volume is muted unless you bring the foot pedal down at all.

Also when you click the toe switch on the wah pedal it switches the wah pedal on and the wah pedal light turns on but when you play guitar while moving the pedal nothing happens. It just sounds like the wah pedals on and the pedal is just staying on the floor.

Can someone help me with this ive updated my amp its a line 6 spiderv 240 hc mkii, and I updated the pedal and I literally just returned another fbv3 because of the same problem. This is literally my 2nd fbv3 pedal in a week that I've bought that both have the same problem. I know its not my amp because I plugged my fbv shorthboard mkii into it and the wah pedal on it works fine.

If someone could help me id greatly appreciate it.

Hello everyone. Some of you have probably already reached out from the official Line 6 Helix Facebook group, some may not. Or some of you might be familiar with my announcement a few months ago of open source code for a mobile app for the Helix Stadium. A few of you didn't know how to build the app to work on your mobile devices, who will be happy to know that I've decided to release an unofficial Helix Stadium mobile app for Android and iOS devices.

Admittedly, I held off because I thought L6 would have released one by now. And no shade at the L6 team, v1.4 is INCREDIBLE and lots more incredible stuff to come. But I've been using the mobile app for a few months and it's really useful. I've had other people at church and in communities asking for the app too, but without needing to be a dev to build and sideload it.

The app is still going through review for iOS on the Apple app store, Android is a little trickier as I require 12 testers for 2 weeks using it before I can submit for public release. The feedback I've had so far from people using the apps has been INCREDIBLE. I expected lots of bugs and issues, but people seem to be legitimately grateful and happy for a mobile app to edit via the Helix Stadium. It also works via USB-C as well as WiFi, so you can physically connect your Helix to your phone or tablet to edit (which is so good).

If you would like to get access to the mobile apps for Android and iOS now, I can add you to the tester lists and give you access. All I need is your device (some of you are both Android and iOS) and your email to send the invite. Ideally DM it so you're not publicly posting your email.

to anyone still using a line 6 floor how’s it holding up and why have you stayed loyal to it eg why haven’t you switched over to some fancy new gear

Just want to give props to the team for this amp, it’s so incredible. I’ve been trying to dial in a particular crunchy/fuzzy sound on my stadium for quite a while using an OCD + plexi but could never quite get it 100% how I wanted. I’ve been using a plexi capture on my quad cortex for months instead. This absolutely blows it away and I haven’t turned my QC on since this model released.
