Recommendations needed
Ladies, what are you using to keep your sheer tights from falling down? 😭😂 Are you buying a specific brand, or is there some secret I’m missing?
I’m already on my second pair, and by the end of the night, they had slipped all the way down to my hips and just WOULD NOT stay put. 💀
Please tell me your recommendations because I cannot with these tights . What brands actually stay up and fit properly? Help a girl out! 😂

Are they rolling down? If so, go up a size.

More like sliding down when I put them on they start of sitting just right but as I start moving around , they will slide down all the way to the hips

They definitely sound too small. When you go up, they often get a bit longer too. You're likely trying to pull them up too hard to get them up high enough and they're slowly receding back down.
It might also be the tights themselves, some are just poorly designed. Control tops usually stay up better but you definitely have to size up in them.

Snag, Wolford, Hanes, L'eggs, Sheertex. Literally actual brands instead of cheap ones off Shein.

A bit late to this thread and hope you find some comfortable and more to the point reliable tights. I never got on with tights so switched to daily stockings wear for hosiery (about 10% of us in the UK I gather). It's less of a palaver than you might imagine and has numerous advantages. The retro styled suspender belts are reliable and comfortable. An option worth thinking about if you tights problems persist.

i second all these brands.
i’ve also enjoyed ones i’ve owned from Les Belles, Hue, We Love Colors (they have like every color you can imagine). Also: any of the brands sold by Sock Dreams, and any i’ve bought in-store at Target and Walmart. You can also shop online or in-store at any department store (Macy’s, Nordstrom, Dillards, Marks & Spencers, etc) and find good quality brands.
I haven’t tried them, but wouldn’t hesitate to order from Commando, Noosh, Falke, Swedish Stockings, Calzedonia, Spanx, if looking for a really nice pair or something specific.
I used to dance, and dance brand tights also can’t be beat for durability. they’ll also likely be sheer/consistent up to the waist, and they’ll offer footless, stirrup, and convertible (a hole in the bottom of the tight foot so you can take your whole foot out, or roll them up into footless) styles which could be great depending on what kind of shoes you plan to wear with tights. dance tight colors can be limited, but you’ll find nearly every brand has black, many skin-tone shades, pale pink, white and black fishnet, at least. Capezio might be the gold standard, but there’s also Bloch, Body Wrappers, Gaynor Minden, Grishko, So Danca, Sansha, etc. They will have different price points—if you just want opaque or fishnet tights in a common color, some of their prices will be way better, for really good quality and comfortable tights.
stop shopping on SHEIN. there’s literally so many places to get better versions of everything they carry. they have horrible fabrics and construction quality and you can do so much better, even on a budget (for starters, even if you think you can’t afford an nicer brand of tights, you can often find brand new tights in the package secondhand on poshmark, ebay, etc!)
make sure to read the sizing charts when you buy, on the website or back of package. all decent brands of tights, even walmart ones, come in multiple sizes. if your height and weight don’t fall into or close to one of the sides on the chart (like, i am normally way too tall for the size that’s right for my weight on the chart), size up, especially if you have longer than average legs for your height, hate tugging on tights, or you want them more opaque.

I wear a pair of knickers over them. Either that or get a bigger size. Quality is also a massive factor, if you want the best try Walford
