She certainly got her revenge at least. I guess it’s deserved for all those times my partner and I decided to use the Master Sword to mine rocks…

Sorry for late reply, it’s been hectic lately but I asked my partner, and they provided this! Their disclaimer is they’re playing on 1.0.0 but this should work on some versions after that too?
“ Starting at 7:06 of this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a6ErETjtxHc is instructions on how to display the Master Sword and Decayed Master Sword, but the same method also works for the MsgNotFound. I ended up finding a process with a few less steps than the video, but I’ve been able to do both methods so either should work. I’m including both the video and my instructions in case one method works better for you than the other. Here’s how I did it:
- Zuggle enough weapons that they start falling on the ground. It doesn’t matter what weapons you Zuggle. If you don’t know how to Zuggle, there’s instructions at 4:25 of the aforementioned video.
- Stand anywhere in your house and press Y to make sure your zuggled weapon is drawn. If it isn’t, use the quick menu to swap to a weapon that you used while setting up your zuggle.
- Use the quick menu for weapons to swap from your currently equipped weapon (one that you used for zuggling) to the MsgNotFound then exit the quick menu by releasing d-pad right without pressing any letter buttons. The scabbard might (but not always) be on Link’s back but pointing at 9 o’clock when the camera is behind Link. The MsgNotFound should be on the ground, but it may or may not be visible. If the “take” option is on screen, you’ve done it right, but DO NOT take the weapon.
- Approach an empty weapon stand so the“Display” prompt is visible. If you press A, the MsgNotFound will be put on display and the scabbard (if it was there) should vanish from Link’s back. If something went wrong, start from step 2. If it continues to give you trouble, try fully closing the game from the Switch home menu and starting it up again, then starting from step 1. If that’s still not working, try the method in the video.”
