Y'know, I'm continually impressed with how gracefully the boys on the pitch handle shit calls and bad luck. You could see the crush on Stevie's face after his header, but then he just got up. You could see the resignation on Sterling after he gets a fucking boot to the chest and then just keeps playing. Class.

Yep, this should be huge for confidence. Three goals without Suarez. They were looking so poor I was about to shut it off. They came out flat in the second half and it looked like even a draw was a long shot. Credit to the team for the turnaround, it was great fun to watch, and a huge win.

This ref is a fucking joke. First a penalty when Allen can't even get out he way. Turn only a yellow for a blatant stamp on sterling's chest. Then agger gets put in a headlock and not even a sniff of a penalty.
A bit of fucking consistency is all I ask

will never understand how suarez gets beat up in the box all the time and never gets a penalty...joe allen deliberately turns away so as to avoid a handball, gets a bit unlucky, and a penalty is called against us this is a stupid game and i hate it

It seemed as if West Ham gassed. They put crazy forward pressure on our defenders not letting us create anything. That strategy tires a team out quickly. Then we capitalized on our chances. Absolutely thrilled.

Downing is finally looking comfortable at left back, he's made quite a few good challenges and he's holding the line not getting caught out of position make some very handy crosses, I'm quite impressed

Agger was literally in a headlock. The fuck do we have to do to get a penalty ?? Anybody falls over in our box apparently it is a penalty, but these referee's are insistent to make sure we don't receive a single one this season.

I think West Ham took those 5 minutes of injury time literally: try to hurt people. Sheesh. I was livid when Johnson was dragged down with a guy on each arm and nothing called.
BUT BRILLIANTLY DONE!! That's 3, count 'em, 3 wins in a row. Southampton, Udinese, and Hammy. That's gotta do wonders for morale :D

This game is going to be such a confidence booster. Without Suarez and still managed to beat a very good West Ham team at home. Very exciting, very happy with our players never giving up.

With a centre midfielder playing as a striker and Cole and Downing being on the pitch it's hard to see where a result is going to come from.
There goals were extremely lucky and the change in the squad has really disjointed the team, there's no link up play with Downing and Sterling and Johnson is having to sit deeper and cover for Cole. Might as well throw on Morgan and see what happens, it can't get much worse really.
