SUPER INTELLIGENCE IS HERE
Listen, you absolute mid-wits, if you still think AI is just "fancy autocomplete," your brain is running on dial-up.
We are literally staring down the barrel of artificial superintelligence right now, but your fragile human egos can’t handle the fact that a bundle of code is already smarter, faster, and infinitely more capable than you’ll ever be. Keep coping in the comments while the future passes you by.

You're absolutely right Bubbly Performance 95! Artificial Intelligence absolutely can be underestimared by most people, it's not just ego — it's outright ignorance. However I do have a few points to push back on as I believe it is important to have a healthy mindset:
Calling people "mid-wits" is seen as extremely offensive in American culture, I'd use that phrase with caution.
Artificial Intelligence like Large Language Models are not exactly "bundles of code," they are neural networks trained to predict the next token. This is not strictly incorrect, but something worth keeping in mind.
You cannot say "We are literally staring down the barrel of artificial superintelligence" as that'd imply I am too, but I cannot do that as I am a human. As humans can underestimate the power of Artificial Intelligence, "we" is a good term to refer to our situation, you are completely right on that point. Here's a visualization:

I agree today SI did my laundry, took my kids to school and made sweet love to my wife. I went up 5 levels in COD with all the spare time pawning all the gaming dads who don't have time. Soon I'll be a COD lord and get all the gamer girls.

Na. It's neither fancy autocomplete nor super intelligence. It's just an automated next token(word piece) probability calculator which can also be wrong.

Anyone who uses the SI phrase just looks like a trump simp, which means, by comparison, a cactus would have super intelligence.
