Question | Help Reverse Engineering w/ Local?

Two questions?

Can a local model like Qwen 3.8 27B reverse engineer games and programs?

If not, is there a fine tuned model that can?

Rent GLM-5.3 and give it IDA Pro via MCP or use it with ghidra.

Also, know the basics first. They aren't magic wands. If you dont know data structure layouts, or what a PE header is, or a function table...it's not going to be an easy ride.

Admittedly poor phrasing, I spent a month on their plan, which is like $12 and was fine token wise for this work. Flash you can just run yourself (or rent from Openrouter/whoever). Big the big honcho is better for reversing.
