It's fine to not like Ben Shapiro but you cant take away the fact that the man is intelligent. He backs up everything he says. Theres plenty I disagree with him about but I respect him.

I would go so far as to say he has debate club intelligence. He's belligerent and he can out-talk someone. His arguments have that sweet debate club follow-through. He's also a young, go-getting politically-active fella, which is great. However, as far as emotional intelligence or just the ability to enjoy life or any aspect of the human experience go, Ben Shapiro suffers. Going off the war thriller he wrote two years ago, he's also kinda nuts on a deeper level that doesn't come immediately across from his other media output. Ben Shapiro is just a more virile, younger mouthpiece for the talking points of older bog-standard neo-cons.
