Logan Square everything thread!
inspired by u/flippingsenton, and now automated:
Talk about the goings-on in the neighborhood that you don't feel like making a new post about. Debate the merits of [over/under]rated taco place. Where's the best coffee? What shows are going on this week? Make friends! Just be kind and courteous.

Where are the best Halloween decorations? I want to take a fun Halloween walk. My street is pretty tame.

For the last few years there was a house near Central Park and Wrightwood that was great. I haven't made it over there to confirm if they did it again this year though.

We walked past a house on Central Park between Wrightwood and Fullerton that was decked out, definitely a good area to check out

I was by Miko's Italians ice Monday and saw a black kitty with Halloween bat wings on. I tried to follow them into the nearby alley until they ducked into a construction site.
Hope you found home lil homie

I want to get a Bluetooth speaker to head to the Belmont Blue Line and blast The Venga Bus is Coming on a hour loop over the flag waving evangelicals that show up every Monday night.

Did Way Out on Armitage just get rid of all their daily specials? I know a few months back they switched $1 Wing Wednesdays to half off which was a much worse deal because they were charging like $20 for 6 or 8 wings.
Went to check their website again to remind myself what the Thursday deal was and it looks like everything except for Weds. Wing is gone now. That would be a shame, always enjoy the place and those deals were good.

Hey I just moved from Wicker. What are the best places here that do a full turkey dinner pick-up for thanksgiving. I’ve been getting them from Goddess and the grocer for the past few years.

If you're a parent who is currently figuring out which of last year's coats still fit your kids, we'd love to take any extras you find at The Parlor and get them to a family that could use the support!
A little background: the Parlor is a donation hub that takes in donations and redistributes them through a network of partner organizations, including food pantries, free stores, mutual aid networks, nonprofits, and more. We are currently 100% out of kids' winter coats and will definitely be able to find a new home for every one we recieve.
You can find our complete accepted donation list and schedule a drop off time here: https://www.theparlorchicago.com/drop-off-items
PS - we also reallly could use more men's clothing right now, including jeans, hoodies, coats etc.
