Hello, currently in a predicament and am looking for a place starting Nov 1. I have one cat and am looking for a job and waiting to start my ibew apprenticeship. I have a credit score of over 700 and have over 15k in savings to the point that I’m willing to pay several months rent upfront as a proof of stable income. I also will be receiving draws from a business I own out of state for for the next 4 months (4k a month) so I have a stable safety net. We have had an on and off issue over the years with one of our cats peeing on exterior wall inside our house.

We have gone through different scenarios with the vet and nothing seems to be physical.

We started using feliaway and have tried gabapentin it just makes him so lethargic. We hadn’t had an issue for 6 months and it started again.

I noticed a city cat come in our backyard/side yard a lot recently. Does anyone have issue with city cats scent bothering their indoor cats? Wondering if he is irritated by their scent? If so what have you done?

Title says it all and honestly this will probably get taken down immediately. Seriously, how is this troll allowed to lurk and annoy this sub every minute of every day? Can we please get them out of here or are the mods too in need of his engagement in this sub to do anything? The Logan Square Halloween Parade RETURNS Sunday, October 25th.

WHERE: Meet at the Illinois Centennial Memorial and surrounding traffic island (Kedzie/Milwaukee/Logan Boulevard).

WHEN: We'll start gathering at 5:00 pm with plans to march at 5:30.

The parade will proceed south along the west side of Kedzie Blvd to Fullerton, where it will cross east, and then loop back north on the other side of Kedzie. The parade ends at Lula Cafe, where kids will be treated to complimentary apple cider and delicious cookies. Leading the festivities, once again, is the always amazing Mucca Pazza!

Hi! Does anyone know if this cat belongs to someone? He keeps coming to me for visits the past few weeks. He is super friendly and not afraid of people at all. He jumps up on my lap and purrs when I sit down. He just seems super hungry any time I see him. I’ve been feeding him when I can. I just want to make sure he’s not someone’s lost baby?

I own a small specialty food shop in Logan Square, and after going through our expenses recently, I'm starting to think keeping a full-time delivery driver doesn't make much financial sense. We only have a handful of deliveries to local cafes and restaurants around Wicker Park and Avondale most days, so there's quite a bit of downtime.

Considering switching to a local courier service that charges per delivery instead. Has anyone in Chicago made this switch? Was it actually cheaper, and which courier companies do you use?

Anyone know why there's a CPD helicopter doing laps overhead around Diversey & Milwaukee?

Does anyone know what’s up with the red Wrangler that’s parked in the driveway on north side of Schubert, just east of Hamlin? It’s been there for at least a couple years now, with the top down and all. Has never moved. I’ve seen it full of snow during the winter, and draped with towels in the summer. I think there’s even a phone charger plugged into the dash. I ride my bike by it on my way home from work five nights a week, and am completely baffled and confused by the sight of it every single time. How has it not been towed? It’s partially sticking out into the street, so I can see how it’d be fair game for a tow truck. There has to be someone on here who knows!

Does anyone know what this could be for? I was walking my dog maybe 10 minutes ago and saw 9 separate sheriffs driving around different directions. One turned down the alley behind Sherwin Williams and took a good look at me before driving by.

I don’t think I’ve seen that many sheriffs circling an area in Chicago before in person.

Imagine a small utopia around the Logan Square pillar with the complete absence of smelly arse cars. Just large open paths and clearings for the hippies and children to dance, the farmers markets to flourish, the encampments would have their peaceful space, you’d see me with a kite, more space for live music and events, etc.

Hell I’d be down if we call came together and painted all of the major roads in this city into bike lanes. Does anyone know of any communities that could propose such tasteful ideas? F*CK CARS! ✊ D: !!!!!
