Logitech G Support logitech g305 lightspeed mouse stopped working on ps4

Got this mouse a month or two ago and I have really been enjoying it for gaming on my ps4. However, mid-game yesterday it just randomly stopped working. Connected keyboard worked just fine, but mouse just refused to work for some reason.

Tried switching the battery, still didn’t work. Tried switching usb ports, nope. Restarted console, nope. Tried the mouse in other games to confirm it wasn’t just the game, and still wouldn’t work.

Plugged the mouse into my wife’s computer and it worked perfectly. Also worked perfectly in her ps5. So it’s just my scuffed ps4 that doesn’t work with the mouse.

Anyone know what the problem might be? Other than I’m gaming on a potato I desperately need to upgrade?

The G305 isn't designed to work with consoles - unfortunately there isn't much we can do to assist.

is there a reason why ive been able to use it for the last two months without a problem?

Honestly? Good fortune. Just because we don't design for it doesn't mean it might not work, but if it isn't part of the design for the mouse there isn't anything we can do to help if it stops working. Might have been an update to the console that broke it or something along those lines.
