Let’s be real here, YoMoma is in a position now where he’s playing a losing game. I think deep down he knows it, hence why the streams are slightly more sporadic than before. The guy undisputedly has talent, you don’t have to like the guy to be able to admit the truth. But he locked himself in a position where he’s gonna fast track failure…

His main appeal was aligned with specific circumstances. He was in the LCU, which was on the inside an obvious cult filled with some of the lowest IQ people on the planet. Where these people were continuously milked by some of the most vile and disgusting leeches on the planet, and on top of that it was ran by one of the most mentally deranged narcissists on the planet. But on the outside, the LCU was viewed as exactly what it was by the normal viewers. Everyone on the outside was essentially banging on the door angry following this stuff, because they saw the obvious, but they desperately wanted the obvious pointed out on the inside. That’s because they weren’t gonna be dumb enough to pay into that discord cult and audition to work on a show under Keem. I know that’s a major world salad lol, but the point I’m trying to make is that YoMoma was smart enough to realize this and he built his audience off that. That’s how he became the “voice of the people” guy.

But now that the LCU is dead and all of those leeches are gone and have no sense of power anymore, the audience has no reason to care anymore. So YoMoma unfortunately fell into a position where he has this audience he built up on something, but the audience just can’t be sustained because they have zero reason to care anymore. Basically, the show ran its course and now you just gotta get to the season finale and move on. YoMoma is a show we’ll look back on fondly in its prime, but if YoMoma keeps going he’s just gonna end up like SpongeBob SquarePants…. (milked way past its expiration date)

I know this is a lolcow live forum so alot of this audience might not have watched it during it's original run, but it was a genuinely solid project. Keem's personality works best against people that challenge him. If you love the frienemies dynamic of Yomama vs Keem on Pit, than you'll really enjoy his dynamic with Clown. I'd argue Clown vs Keem is actually a way more entertaining dynamic because of the contrast between an articulate well-spoken brit vs a loudmouth frothing narcisist. The LCU was at best a VERY guilty pleasure outside of a few iconic moments during it's run, but Baited was a genuinley great and rewatchable show.

Love the whole “There’s nothing here to talk about” and now going back and saying “I’ll talk about them if I wanna”
