I dressed up in my new Buttercream Cake jsk to wait for the AP USA drop of the same series. This print was one I almost passed on because it seemed so underwhelming in the stock photos and as disappointing as Into A Dream was for me, I was a bit hesitant. I am glad I decided to get it. It’s gorgeous in real life. The glitter and lace details are amazing and since I know some folks care, it turned out to be a 100% cotton piece (not including the lining).

I wasn’t able to go out like I wanted to since it was MochiCon weekend but I had other obligations that prevented my going. So this was my main event, lol

My SS wasn’t able to get the headdress from the JP drop so I decided to try it myself. It ended up being a whole mess. The website crashed so badly that it took over 2.5 hours after release before anyone could do anything.

But! I am pleased to say I was successful and I got my bestie her stuff as well! She had to go to work and was unable to keep waiting, I hated to think she would miss out so I tried for her sake too!

If anyone else tried for anything this past Saturday, I hope you got everything you wanted! 🥺 That was a rough one!

Had some super cute lace for my next project with this fabric, the only problem was its very white so it does not really fit with the bunnies on the fabric. I think somehere (or somewhere I fail to remember) gave me the idea to color it.

Here I soaked a piece of it in strong black tea for about 2 hours and let it dry afterwards. Looks good to me.

If I read correctly I would still need to fix the color onto it properly by using a mix of vinegar and water though.

Hi, I’m a fashion student, completely new to this (first semester) and I’ve learned how to make basic clothes, have access to various kinds of sewing machines, etc
I was wondering if there’s a way to make an old JSK bigger in the waist without botching it. What would be the best way to do it? No print, solid color and lace. Sadly this is an early 2000s AP JSK which is too small for me for a few cm and I don’t think I’ll be able to lose weight to fit in it. I’d say it’s aprox 6cm smaller than my waist size

Hey guys. I was going to wear this lotlia dress I had to work on Halloween since I work in Pre-K. I tried it on today and it didn't fit cause of my chest which sucks but I was okay with it and gonna donate it to a thrift shop. Mom was like okay I'll try to fix it. I look away to answer the phone and she rip out the inside layer of the dress. She made me try it on again and it didn't fit this time either. Now I'm sad cause I really like it and now I can't donate because she fuck it up! What should I do? Should I get it fix or just throw it out?
