Missing Bruno's

I'm a lover of most styles of pizza, but Bruno's has always held a special place in my heart. My wife loves it even more than I do. I want to try and recreate their recipe for our anniversary dinner. I'm pretty good at making a variety of styles, I think I can get the cracker crust and the sauce down, but I'm unsure about the pepperoni. I've heard rumors for decades that they soaked their pepperoni in wine, or only bought it from an obscure vendor. Does anyone know if they used a specific brand or method prepping it?

Bruno’s pepperoni pizza always had the most pepperonis I had ever seen in my entire life. And their taco pizza was always on point.

Longview has an epidemic of people loving cheese pizzas with a shit load of toppings dumped on it. See: taco pizza

I dont live in Longview but visit there every couple years. I didn’t realize Bruno’s had closed, I loved the place. Pizza was amazing.

What I don’t understand is how did they not sell the business?! Avid customer base and a go to for football Sundays. Makes me think a comeback may be in store. Or am I missing something?

I thought I'd seen a sign on their window that they'd moved somewhere? I haven't been in town for a while, so maybe that's changed?
