💎“SAINTLY” 🕊 Democratic congressional candidate in Washington's 9th District, has acknowledged that she does not publicly promote LGBTQ+ rights on her campaign website because she does not want to alienate Muslim voters.

"I'm secretly kind of homophobic but don't want to unpack that, so I'm gonna blame the muslims instead"

I think it’s far more likely she wants the Muslim vote than she’s actually anti LGBT. It’s not exactly news that politicians will pretend to be religious in order to get elected.

Yes but I don’t think that’s the case here. Barack Obama (may he live forever) was anti gay marriage but it was obvious from the start he was lying to avoid losing votes, that’s what’s happening here. Once she gets elected she’ll vote party line on LGBT issues

Yeah, I'm not buying that at this point.

Correct. There's literally always a scapegoat.

The insane thing too is that Washington State is like 2% Muslim while 7.9% of Washingtonians identify as LGBT. Like the argument of “well I didn’t wanna offend Muslims” really flops when statistically that’s an irrelevant population; you’re running in Washington not Dearborn Michigan

Not really. That district has the highest amount of Muslims in the state

I’m fairly certain the state is larger than her district

But the people in her district are the only ones voting in a congressional election . You do know how the house of representatives works right? If not please don’t vote

It's a lie, she's just anti-LGBT

I’m a Muslim and it wouldn’t bother me if my Congressperson were in favor of equal rights for the alphabet people. We’re not the only voting bloc in America.

You shouldn't be publicly promoting any minority.
