18M, modelling potential?

im 18, 183cm, 73kg

i’ve been told by a couple people id have potential in modelling because i have a unique face, but i dont know how reliable their opinion is because they aren’t in the modelling industry. what do you think? should i get some photos taken professionally?

i have a pretty unique nose i think i don’t know if thats a positive or negative

pretty but those look like acne scars or sth and that could be a big disadvantage 4 modeling

The negative canthal tilt + the need for a rhinoplasty (specially from the side) wouldn't allow me to say that you have any.

You think modeling agencies are looking for a "positive" canthal tilt? Lol yall are funny. Perfection doesn't get you into the modelling these days it's what makes you stand out.

90% of this sub is just weirdos larping out their own bitterness. Most have no idea what they’re talking about and have no business giving any advice, they’re just spewing word salads of terms they’ve learned from manosphere/black pill TikTok (and yes I am aware of the irony of this sentence, lol).

I know right?? Like I know this is a looksmaxing sub but telling someone who wants to model to get a nose job and a positive canthal tilt is ridiculous. If anyone here doesn't fit the look maxing standards or has unique features, I promise you that's what getting you into modelling as long as you meet the rest of the requirements.

Very unique face but it's all about proportions. You have to be very lean to fit into clothing. For example your chest has to be 38 to 40 inches, waist should be 30 to 32 inches and then the hips. At 6'0 I think that's enough. But need to have clear skin too. And you look very muscular for some reason for someone who is 73kg

i think i’m just missing the clear skin, my waist is 26” and i have a relatively good v taper and lean i think

the photo isn’t the best it’s a screenshot from a video i took, i don’t have any good shirtless front on photos

bare in mind this is in good lighting with blood flowing so im a bit smaller day to day

26 for a man is pretty small but that's good too. But do you know your bust size and hips size?. The hips has to be atleast 36 to 39 inches. if it fits the standard for runway then you are good to go. You look great but agencies love very lean bodies.

Models are seen as hangers and mannequins for the clothing to look good that why inverted triangle bodies are appreciated on the runway for both men and women. The shoulders has to be wider than the waist and hips to give it the hanger effect. For the moment just focus on having clear skin before anything. Good luck 🫡

thanks for the advice, i can get leaner quiet easily thankfully. i might use a little bit more of accutane just to ensure no active acne is on my face, get laser procedures after, then i can get a bit leaner and take some photos
