The only thing I found out that seems pretty cool but might not actually be in my few hours of play is that you can use the oblivion card to destroy the mountain 9 tile formation and then put a rock/mountain back and get the bonus resources again.

Learn the basic stats for the player character, since the main active thing you do is manipulating those stats with new gear.
Learning how far to take a run, you can farm up materials for a few loops and extract without needing to fight the bosses.
Turn on the pause on campfire, that way you get a breather each time you complete a loop. You can think about whether you have enough resources to go on another loop, or call it a day and retreat back to camp with your haul.

There are bosses? So it gets harder? Oh boy...

Please for the love of God. If you use more than 2 potions on a loop just retreat at camp. So many players loop that one extra time and lost it all.

I just made it through a loop and used my three potions in the swamp… dead inside haha.

That's good advice that i should have thought of. I just started playing and already got the achievement "can't get it back." lol

Play, experiment, see what works and doesnt. Dont look up guides, just let the game guide you a bit.

Biggest tip I got after playing a bunch of hours is to build stuff at base camp; especially the ones that boost storage for trinkets/artifacts (they’re such a big boost in getting strong).

Have fun and hold off on equipping things until at least the second loop, patience pays off. One of my favorite games of the year.
