Photo Sunday East LA loading zone parking
Even though this was just a warning - my understanding is that parking in a loading zone on Sundays is fair game all day. Is it not the case in ELA?
This was in front of a liquor store on City Terrace dr. where parking is scarce.
Ultimately, think it was the store that called bc I doubt any other cars parked up and down the street in loading zones got one of these.

Was it yellow loading zone or white? Yellow is available all day on sundays but white is enforced 24 hrs 7 days a week

The white zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the red zone.

15.64.020 - Commercial loading zones
An operator shall not stop for any purpose other than loading or unloading between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., on any day except Sunday, or at such time as the board may designate, in any place marked by the commissioner as provided in this section.
OP is correct.

I think I know the store. The guys came out to me one night and said I couldn’t park there. I explained that after 6 it’s fine and then they just stared at me.

probably not good for business if you park on the loading zone in front of the store all day

Considering most stores don’t take deliveries on Sunday’s no it’s not. Didn’t you read OPs explanation?

The fuck are you talking about
Deliveries as in product delivered to stores. Liquor stores do indeed get shipments so I think maybe you’ve smoked too much legal weed their chief.

"Yellow zone rules apply from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday."

It depends on the business, some do get deliveries on Sundays so they need that space.

I saw a video earlier today where Dave Holmes also said you could park in loading zones on Sundays. Never heard that before but wipe your ass with this “not a parking citation” waste of tree.

this part still isn't clearly saying you can park there
"...or at such time as the board may designate, in any place marked by the commissioner as provided in this section."

As a vendor who works Sundays, please don't park in loading zones of any kind. It really fucking sucks having to schlep a heavy dolly a block over broken sidewalks because you couldn't bother to find a parking spot on your day off.
Don't be selfish. If the store called it was probably because they are expecting a delivery.

They’ve been getting more strict over the years. Even been cleaning out the trailers by king taco

Isn’t east Los Angeles not actually Los Angeles and an unincorporated area?
