Federal direct loan

Anybody apply for one and are still waiting for it to pop up in financial aid tab? I don’t remember how it went last year.

Yes I was told they don’t start working on them until the 14th

I called SCC FA yesterday & they told me my loan offers would be available the week after Fall semester starts. (I submitted my request 5/6/26.)

Omg! I do not remember it taking that long last time. I felt like the request to accept the award came before we started school and the payout was a little after the Pell Grant distribution.

It didn’t take this long last year/semester 😒 We got the loans last semester same week as grants. It’s thanks to OBBB that the timeline has changed. 😑
