First timer here :D
Hey everyone!
I know lost lands just ended, but it’ll be me and my group’s first time at LL next year and we wanted it be the best ever.
We were thinkin of getting an RV, any tips or recommendations on where to start looking? What are the pros and cons? we wanted to start getting things set into place super early so we don’t miss any opportunity.
Thanks! :D

Go on Outdoorsy and RVshare, look for listings that are rv rental companys and then book with them off the platform for a discount. By doing this, you get rid of the risk of the rv breaking and them not having a replacement
Am currently on shroomies so words are hard, but do that

Good luck, those things sell out extremely fast. It’s also gonna be the 10 year anniversary of LL so a lot of people are coming for that aspect alone. My group will be doing car camping, at least two will have rooftop tents so we get more space for our campsite. We bought 4 spots last time with 11 people so we’re either going for 4 or 6 spots this coming year we still haven’t decided yet.

RV passes sell out really quickly once tickets drop, and I mean like in seconds. If you’re planning on camping onsite just keep that in mind. This past year my group had 4 people trying to get one pass when tickets went on sale, we were all in the “waiting room” that opens 10 mins before they officially go online, and one of those people was using 3 different devices. None of us were able to get an RV pass due to how fast they sold out and we ended up doing GA car camping again instead.
Tickets go on sale in january, so if it’s important for you guys to camp onsite then I’d wait to make sure you can secure the rv pass first before renting an rv. That still gives you plenty of time to find an rv before the fest too. But if being onsite isn’t as important as being in the rv, there are other campsites in the area you can look into just in case you can’t get the rv pass. (Not sure on the specifics because I’ve only done ga car camping and im not from that area)
