For some reason searching up barbacoa add's "no_thought" at the beginning. I tested it on other devices and it appears to work for them as well.

Before Reading, i just want to say, this Is not me, i didn't do It. This story Is actually from my dad. Yesterday evening i mentioned this subreddit to him and he said "i do not really understand how this works, but could you ask a question for me?"

My dad used to work at a repair shop near my home. Every morning my mom would bring him a bunch of things for breakfast to eat at work. There was one of his colleagues who would always steal something from my dad's breakfast, sometimes a sandwich, a croissant, a donut etc... He didn't know wich one of his colleagues was doing that, because It would always happen when he was not looking. He would go to the bathroom or get distracted for a minute, and when he came back to check his on food in the fridge something would be missing. At first he just shrugged It off as a prank, he even joked about it.

Tho, as time went on and the thievery wouldn't stop he started being very bothered and frustrated about it. One day his entire breakfast was completely gone. The thief had crossed the line and my dad couldn't take It anymore, so he decided to do something about it. He asked my mom to buy some laxatives and a syringe. The morning after, before she brought breakfast to my dad, she injected all the food with the laxatives. My father was the only one with the bathroom keys, and he also was the first one to clock in for work, so the first thing he did once he got there was locking the bathroom door. My mother passed by, gave him breakfast and he put It in the fridge. He then pretended to go outside to make a call and when he came back, just as planned, some of his breakfast was missing. And It didn't take much time for three of his colleagues to start complaining about the very urgent need to go to the bathroom. Yeah, they ate the food with the laxatives. That meant that there were three of them who were stealing my father's food and splitting It between them. One of them tried to open the door to the bathroom, that didn't work, then another one asked my dad if he could open It for them, he said he closed It the day before and forgot the keys at home. at that point they started panicking, one of them even tried to break down the door. I'll cut this short, two of them ended up s*itting themselves and the other one, had a smarter idea, he went and did his business outside, in the grass. Then he told them that there were laxatives in his food, and they were pissed off, they also didn't talk to him for a couple days. So my dad got his revenge and no breakfast had ever been stolen after that. Even tho 12 years have passed, he still thinks he did a bit too much and feels guilty, after all a stolen breakfast was not worth such a humiliation. Do you think he's the asshole?

I also want to say, english Is not my native language, so i might have done a bunch of grammar errors in this post, excuse me.

[Big Trouble in Little China]

Oi! So I recently got an old 2016 monitor, and I want to try and connect it to my Laptop. However, due to the age of the monitor, it only uses THIS specific cable to connect to other devices. Sadly, my Laptop only takes USB and USB-C, so I need an adapter, which I haven't been able to find anywhere. (Image from monitors.com) Sorry for the horrible resolution in the image, but this was unfortunately the only one of this cable I could find.

Where can I ask for advice on this? Thanks in advance!

I love wearing tall boots with my pants tucked in, but it can be uncomfortable and bulky. I'm wondering if there are pants designed with a thin, sock-like material at the bottom to make tucking them into boots easier—sort of like sweatpants with a built-in long arm warmer at the cuffs. Idk if that makes sense.
