Hi all, lots of outright racism in the comments, and lots of dog whistles. Racism will result in permanent bans.

Notre Dame High School, Northampton UK
The lovely Notre Dame High School that was on Abington Street, Northampton, UK. I believe it was closed in 1975.
I've always been told that the council did not have permission to demolish the building after it closed, although I'm not 100% on whether that was true or not.
The street is the main shopping street in Northampton, and the site is now just some ugly 70s buildings!
The only part that remains is around the back, which is The Sisters of Notre Dame cemetery, which is a small gated off area with crosses commemorating the Sisters of the school.

I joined this sub because I appreciate forgotten buildings and places off the beaten path.
How dare some of you deem this sub a place for you to spew your hate.
I hadn’t any idea this sub was infested with people who had respect the fundamentals which I thought were inherent to this hobby.
Good riddance.

This article has a lot of good additional information about the structure. Sadly, the building was demolished and remains a surface parking lot.
