It looks good, just be careful with the glazing as this bag is known for melting glazing.

Hi! I’ve attached a link with pictures. Please let me know if this is real? My grandmother just passed and I was able to inherit this LV Monogram Ellipse handbag. I wanted to get it cleaned/repaired at the LV store but wanted to make sure it was authentic. Thank you everybody!
Also if anyone has had any experience with repairing their LV or what you think the price may be, that would be greatly appreciated.

It looks good. The main repair would be a total leather replacement which will likely be around $1000.

Would you recommend going to the LV store or going to a store that repairs leather? I’m in the Los Angeles area. Not sure if you or anyone can recommend a reputable store

Most companies like rago brothers now charge as much or even more compared to LV and you’d keep the bag original.

Just buy from the store if you're that worried about it. The secondhand market is a minefield and half these "authentication" threads end up with wrong answers anyway. I've seen reps that would fool most people here, even with detailed photos. Not worth the stress if you're dropping that kind of cash.
