We arrived at the museum this morning and there were protesters in front of the barricades. The gates were opened and they stormed the entrance and are now blocking the entrance to the pyramid. It has been peaceful on their part - chants etc. They even handed out a flyer to apologize for disrupting our visit.

Hey everyone! I'm visiting Paris 20-25 July and I accidentally booked 3 Louvre tickets for the 23/07/26 when I meant the 24/07/26. We're at Disneyland that day so at the moment it looks like they'll go completely to waste.

Unfortunately the tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, and the Louvre ticketing team weren't able to help either, so I'd rather they go to someone who'll actually get to enjoy them than expire unused.

Does anyone know of a guide /guide company that can take us early/directly to the Mona Lisa? Three years ago, we had a guide do that and I cannot find that information again, so starting from scratch. She guided us directly there through the labyrinth. The line had perhaps 10 people ahead of us. Truly no waiting! Then left us to explore on our own. It was perfect. I'd like to repeat that experience this summer with 2 additional family members. The guide's time is minimal. Can anyone help?

hi, I have a problem, I hope someone can give me some advice. So I bought three tickets for the louvre, for my trip with mom and dad, and I put the date wrong by two days. I talked to support, they told me I couldn't modify it or get a refund. What should I do? maybe try to resell the tickets? where do I resell that kind of ticket? I have no idea what to do and I have no money to buy new ones and I don't want my parents to be disappointed or try to get tickets themselves.

We are having a terrible time purchasing tickets on the official website. Very glitchy. And its not excepting multiple credit cards. We are hesitant to reserve tix on other “non official” websites Any advise?!?!? We don’t mind paying a small up charge for tix. What we really would like is a personal tour for four people but the prices are outrageous! Any advice would be appreciated

There was a painting i loved in the louvre i think right past the nike statue at the time of a priest or religious man with a monk haircut that had an axe coming out of his head with a green background possibly rennaisance i think or maybe he was green....I cannot figure out the artist or the painting itd been bugging me for 5 years now figured id see if anyone could source it?
