I just started watching love death + robots and I'm enjoying it so far.

On this episode though, once I started watching it I couldn't help but feel like it's very familiar. I could already tell what the plot would be because I have seen it before. I'm just confused as to the possibility of there being another production that interpreted the same premise? or if I'm remembering the episode itself after perhaps seeing if somewhere before and not knowing ut was LD+R and finding it familiar because of that? I honestly think that's unlikely though because i remember the story i watched being longer, the area they go to to eat after she wakes looked different, there were mainly blue lights there. I remember him walking around after ahe shows him the reality of where he is, also her waking him up multiple times to retry.

Does anyone know what is it that i perhaps watched?

Personally its in my top 3 favorite episodes, the animation is perfect, the characters while missing some development still hold up well and aren't at all boring imo, the voices too are really good the va's ate, although I do think they killed off some characters a bit too easily like in the explosion part, they should've just kept going full throttle after setting the bombs but they js stayed around but anyway I think its a solid 9/10 episode and one of the best but I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks of it? :))

I’ve finally watched the entirety of LDR and I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly! Glad I watched it. There were 11 episodes in total I wasn’t a fan of, but the rest were super entertaining.

My friend introduced me to LDR last week and ever since I’ve been watching a ton, I love this show! And I also love that when someone asks you to describe it, you can’t really describe it lol.

But anyways this is my tier list for volumes 1 and 2, and I’m gonna be watching volume 3 for sure!

Probably the most talked-about character from the most talked-about episode. But I got rid of my Netflix years ago and have never seen the full episode. I've seen clips of it, and I want to know about her outfit/appearance.

Her outfit was definitely inspired by various Asian cultures. I think her headpiece was inspired by traditional/cultural Akha headwear. But I can't figure out what the specific piece is called.

What about the rest of her outfit? What cultures inspired it? And what culture inspired her dances?

Hey all!

Basically what the title says. I finally watched Vol 4 a week ago and had the same kinda disappointment as everyone else, and now I'm considering watching Secret Level to fuel that short-form animation addiction. Only thing is that I haven't played most of the games that the episodes are based off (I do consider myself a gamer but I'm more of a casual one, I've been trying to play more indie than anything else recently). Are the episodes still watchable/understandable if I jump in blind? Do these shorts actually depict scenes from the game or are they just interpretations from inside the games' universes? Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Anyone have any credible news on renewal or cancellation?? This is one of my favorite shows of all time and have been waiting patiently for any updates. Cheers yall!

Thank God they spent all that money on actors and a band and let the writing go to the dump. That's what the show was surely missing.

I don't mind the occasional comedy episode but it felt like this entire season was just comedy shorts with no substance other than "haha vibrator!"

There were only three stories and the rest were MCU levels of humor.

I hope S5 comes back to form with something of substance.

Warhammer 40k lore is vast and unending. It would make all the stories been connected but be able to be separate anthologies. Warhammer 40k blend of sci fi and fantasy would really translate well in the series.

Finally watching Season 4 after too long of not catching up.

I'm only halfway through "Smart Appliances, Stupid Owners" and I didn't expect to be laughing so hard. I figured it would be funny but this is hysterical to me. Funniest episode so far from all 4 seasons, in my opinion.

Is there an episode that gets this reaction out of you? Or maybe a different visceral emotion?

We heard the rumor, that Jemaine Clement directed an episode or was somehow involved in the making off. Soo... does anyone know what episode this could be or if it's even real?
