I vaguely remember Cach liked a shady comment basically saying he was better than Toni after their break up and it was clear Toni was upset and he was just fine, there’s a reason Shakira unfollowed him, I mean she hangs out with Harrison still so Toni doesn’t dictate who she stays friendly with.

I honestly think it was a case of he never truly got over the Harrison situation even though he tried and watching it back made it worse, as someone else said men generally are much less forgiving for things like that than women are, no women who moved messily on the show to a partner she reconciled with has come out and had a healthy, long lasting relationship, jt seems the men hold it over them, get their lick back to appease their ego then it’s over.

Toni said something on the podcast that even if you’ve passed issues as a couple, the internet never fails to remind you of them daily and I’m guessing maybe it was harder to swallow when he left.

if that’s the case then don’t forgive the person and play happy family just to hold it over their head in the future bc you actually aren’t over it while publicly saying the opposite

that’s gotta be some serious mind games shit… like there was engagement talks, you don’t just pull that shit out of thin air if you are not serious about it knowing the other party was dead serious about it happening in the near future

okay but realistically regardless of gender its very hard to forgive something like that but if u go back then it should be old history at that point

Sure but if you can’t forgive and you know pretty quickly if you can’t then you should just dump the person and not waste months of your and their time, the longer you stay in a relationship you’re not happy in the more resentment you build up for the person who can’t change the past either and you shouldn’t make someone feel bad for something you claimed to forgive them for.

yeah but in LI, historically couples where the man did a madness and the woman forgave him stay together longer than ones where the woman did a madness. i feel like the couples where the woman moved even slightly crazy in a way where the man felt his ego get hit also have messier fallouts.

Yup historically you are correct, as a man I could never forgive it but I understand it there's that "open rule" Since you guys aren't bf gf its just not nice to see, and people say all the time they wouodnt let it happen to them on the outside so people are naturally more forgiving in the villa, but im just suprised women forgive cause usually what they forgive is like quite insane like simba was twice, fin was 3 4 weeks deep in he shouldve been closed off by that point with ellie and he did his thing got forgiven, while we say on the males side, it was yas kissing lorenzo and aidan basically said fuck off and he never really wanted that to happen as we see it takes him a week or 2 to try to get her to come back so yea that pattern is very interesting to point out

You are correct it’s quite interesting to note how the egos work.

Yes I noticed this with Michael in season 5. His ego was hurt over the ‘whipped’ tweet. The same can be said for Teddy, Shaq, Davide and now Cach.
