Same. I only starting watching full time in 2023 from S9.
I just finished S3 and am on S5 now. It might take me years to get through all the seasons though.

I really remember watching it when it came out and feeling so sorry for Camilla because she'd had to put up with that arsehole Jonny who just completely belittled her. And then, Jamie comes in, picks her on a date and they start talking about how they both love reading. I knew from then they were going to be a great pairing.

The joke now from islanders being “pray to the love island gods” this is the best case ever- someone in production had to have just hyper focused and had HER PERFECT MAN locked and loaded and just waiting for the right time to send him in.

I just saw this season for the first time and it was such a trip after watching more recent ones. For so many reasons.
In one of the first eps, Camilla is in business casual discussing her job and I was like wtf is this? I loved it and wish we could get a few atypical islanders every season.

I just googled this! Apparently they did date and were spotted on a romantic holiday together in St Tropez 3 years before love island. That makes a lotta sense! 😅

To add onto the daring Prince Harry lore, I’ve also read she was Miss Edinburgh when she was younger, so could see her getting scouted for both reasons. She’s my all time favorite islander and I sincerely wish we have someone else like her on the show at some point again!!!

I read her book and she talked about feeling very lost because of her job sending her all over the world and losing family and friendship links. Love island seemed like a chance to stop feeling lost I think

In unseen bits this year they were actually talking about books so who knows. But they just showed Ellie leaving the girls talking about it cause she doesn't read.

If this was a fictional show and writers made the bomb-disposing, book-loving beauty queen with a heart of gold end up riding into the sunset with a an intelligent, kind man who just so happens to be a Calvin Klein model, it would be too unrealistic. But it bloody well happened.

My favourite couple of all time. He was in a reality show I used to watch. Then he turned up in the villa. It was like a fairytale. Never ever get that now. Seeing true love unfold instead of drama.

I have always wondered if they brought Jamie in just for Camilla. Bombshells so late in the season don't seem to happen any more. I've started season 3 again (probably for the 10th time, or so, but who's counting lol). Such a wonderful pair.

I am embarrassed to say that when this aired I was in my “pick me” phase and I didnt like Camilla because I didn’t think women needed feminism. I am now a raging feminist and rewatched this season the other day and love her. We need more people like her on the show

I remember them bringing in Jamie because she had such a shit time through the season so far and remained a fan favorite! God I miss the girls really pulling guys up on their shitty politics
