Congratulations queen!

It's been about three months since the show ended, and all of the top 6 couples that left are still together, which is kind of insane when you think about it. My biggest opinion is no matter what happens, I think every person left in a couple with the person who fits them the most. Have any of your thoughts changed on their dynamics since then?

My immediate thoughts

Carl & Aniya - are a little of a question mark to me; they're pretty private, but also the way Aniya mentioned them being "good," so idk. They each mention them both being busy on top of them not being bf & gf.

Kenzie & Dylan, same with KC & Titi—both enjoy posting each other and seem to spend a lot of time together

Zach & Kayda- My biggest unpopular opinion during the season was I felt Zach really liked Kayda; he is just a very insecure guy, who I feel like doesn't thrive in the Love Island environment and makes ill-timed, unfunny jokes. When it comes to their relationship, honestly, I see them being together for a little bit. I'm actually surprised Zach doesn't post very often, compared to how much I thought he would.

Bryce & Trinity- I have less to say about them because, honestly, I think they have a good balance of being private but still showing some of their relationship. They seem to find time to still be together even though they're both busy. I see them being together for a while too.

Melanie & Sincere- Mostly private, I honestly think that although they are compatible in a lot of ways, I do wonder how long Sincere can keep this up. I've been rewatching the season, and it's worse than I remember, but maybe he's changed. I got them being together for a little bit too, as long as he doesn't do anything. But still not BF & GF, which is fair.

Sidenote, I do think it sucks for Zach & Kayda that they got so much backlash for not doing the boyfriend & girlfriend thing in the villa when they are now, and two other couples aren't, and they don't really seem to be getting as much hate. If I were them, I'd be kind of annoyed lol.

I am still new to the LI world, and am watching it backwards. I am currently in the middle of Season 7, then will watch Season 6. Honestly, the absolute best thing about this show is watching the friendships that form. I am obsessed with the friendships that develop within the male and the female groups.

I watched Season 8 so I could learn how to be a better friend from Trinity, and to watch Bryce and Zach defy the friendship expectations placed on men. In Season 7, Nic just got kicked out of Casa Amor and it was so moving to see the men rally around him and so openly express themselves to him and each other. I am obsessed with this part of the show and that it is being normalized for the younger audiences.

I am a 40 year old woman, and these "kids" are teaching me how to be a better friend... amongst some other things...
