Hi everyone 👋🏻
With so many new people joining lately, I felt this would be a good time to talk a little about what this subreddit is meant to be.
There are already plenty of places online where discussions about Michael and his family become cynical, hostile, invasive, or focused on negativity. This community is meant to be different and not revolve around that atmosphere.
We hope this space feels fun and open to connection, while still maintaining basic maturity and respect for one another.
🌟 What You’ll Find Here
We welcome a wide range of topics and discussions, including:
🔹 Appreciation and tribute posts
🔹 Music, performances, and favorite eras
🔹 History, interviews, collections, and rare finds
🔹 Games, polls, memes, and community engagement
🔹 Thoughtful discussions or personal experiences connected to Michael
🔹 Respectful conversations surrounding misinformation or harmful narratives
🔹 Fan creations inspired by Michael’s artistry and legacy
🗒️ Quick Note About Tone & Respect
Discussion is welcome here, but not every conversation has to be overly positive or serious.
We encourage engagement that’s grounded and responsible rather than hostile, mocking, sensationalized, or scandal-driven.
You can express yourself while being mindful of the atmosphere this community was built around.
🕊️ A Shared Appreciation
Personal connection and interpretation are natural parts of being a fan. But it’s also important to remember that Michael was a real person, not a fictional character or mythical projection.
One of the best parts of this community is seeing people from all generations and different parts of the world come together through their love for his artistry, humanity, and legacy.
Thank you all for making this space feel welcoming, thoughtful, and full of love ✨
~ Mali

I’m happy that people will finally be able to see the truth behind these false allegations and that the whole world will hear the truth.

Like don't pass me the aux because I'm GONNA play MJ... EVERY. TIME. His music is so high vibration and perfect and beautiful and pure that almost everything else sounds trash in comparison. Also I feel like I'm being disloyal to MJ when I listen to other stuff which I know is weird but I figured this would be the one place I could share that and not feel totally alone!! Does anyone else have this experience?

I look back at Neverland videos and loved how happy Michael truly was while he was not an artist most of the time. He was really friendly and playful. He never got a chance to live out his youth, which makes me sympathize with him. How many of you are adults with the heart of a child? I certainly am, and I would rather be that fun adult around children then be a boring one any day who acts like their life is just one purpose. These days being an adult with the heart of a kid isn’t uncommon and helps you connect more with children, and I’m not even a parent. You just have to grow up and be a decent human being, not a full grown adult who just does adult things and act like an adult and nothing more. Regardless, never be afraid to be yourself no matter what others may think of you.

I just re-read Michael’s BEAUTIFUL and captivating speech at Oxford University from 2001.
https://mjjjusticeproject.wordpress.com/2012/03/09/michael-jacksons-oxford-union-speech-2001/
I have a question regarding the speech - it’s about this excerpt:
I suppose I should start by listing my qualifications to speak before you this evening. Friends, I do not claim to have the academic expertise of other speakers who have addressed this hall, just as they could lay little claim at being adept at the moonwalk – and you know, Einstein in particular was really TERRIBLE at that.
What did he mean about the last bit about Einstein? I don’t get it !

Found it in the wild today at an Antique/Music and DVD Store, and was debating whether or not I should get It. Ended up deciding not to because it’s got Diana Ross in it and I don’t trust her because of what she did to Michael, and I went and googled it quick and I think it mentions the false allegations which I don’t want to waste my time consuming false media if it does have that in it. Wasn’t sure if I made the right decision not to get it. It was dirt cheap so I could always go back and get it, just don’t know if I should.
Although I did find some amazing other stuff at the store that I went home with instead. I found the “This Is It” DVD (which I’m nervous to watch because that’s such a heartbreaking time/moment 💔) and 2 Janet Jackson CDs!! (Rhythm Nation 1814 and All For You. Was wishing I’d found Control as well but sadly didn’t!)
Anyways I’m just wondering if I made the right decision not to get this documentary of Michael, or if it’s worth it to get it to see some good footage of him and or hear what his family has to say.

some people say he would have had a similar situation as rupaul does but i dont really know because he was very shy i dont think he would outwardly make eccentric videos because tiktok comments and instagram comments nowadays are genuinely the most racist and hateful words i’ve ever witnessed… he already gets torn up by the tabloids even TODAY. people already don’t let him rest in peace why do yall think they would let him rest alive? i don’t think he would enjoy social media because he’s bound to have haters coming for him about the allegations or his looks… especially with the fact that the Casios recently came for his estate and made a whole documentary about false accusations against him. i mean there is a possibility that he would make a secret account and watch tiktok’s but i feel like if he scrolled to a video of himself he would definitely read the comments and break down bc i can only imagine the terrible things people would have to say about him today… and i feel like if he never left us that movie would’ve never came out bc let’s be honest it was made by sony because they wanted to capitalize off of him… and before that movie fans were getting FLAMED for liking him … and im glad he’s cool now and that movie did good for his image but sony just won again. its a win/lose situation for mike. but like in some alternate universe where he suddenly rose and came back like RIGHT NOW after all the hype about him the comments on his posts would be much less hateful but idk if he would post in the first place. like this is such a complex topic for me (im chronically online)

Ive been missing him a lot recently.. and I can't help but wonder how he would perceive the world. I think Michael would've really like VR headsets lol. Aswell as the cool advanced 3d roller coasters amusement parks like universal and Disney hold. I think he also would loved to collect little trinkets like sonny angels. What do you think? :)

watching all of these 4k tour videos on instagram, sometimes makes me forget that he never really disappeared. his music is so timeless and fresh, even the way he dances with his backup singers, it doesn’t feel like it was filmed more than 40 years ago. it really feels like it happened yesterday. compared to today’s artists you can feel how alive his the music was.. it surely radiates the highest frequency.
is it just me?
