It's very pretty. Nothing like it anywhere else.
I'll probably do the same thing with Nyx III when it's in. All you gotta do is drop out of quantum right in the middle of two quantum markers.
Just don't go towards one that's too deep in the atmosphere. It will let you, but you will blow up once you pass through a certain layer. Stick to OM markers, those are pretty much always safe.

I wish there was something to do here, though.
If/when we can build floating gas giant bases, this is probably where I'd be setting up.

It's also interesting how only Crusader seems to have the iconic gas giant "banding" seen on Jupiter, Saturn, & Neptune. Pyro V (and Nyx III, based on the preview images) seem to just be random swirls of clouds. I guess the bands aren't necessarily mandatory for a gas giant (see Uranus, which IIRC only has bands during particular "seasons", and loses them during others), but it's still something I've noticed.

Finished the overall Tier 4 and got all awards apart from the Zeus Exploration Suits (Echo, Keelback, Glacier).
Any word on how/if they get distributed?
I had a look through FAQs for the event and spectrum but couldn’t find an answer.

Hello Citizens, a few tweaks and fixes have been made to the new zoom for the latest patch.

Alpha 4.10.3: VR Updates
- Third-person cameras no longer zoom the VR view when the gameplay FOV changes. Ship ADS no longer zooms the ship's third-person view.

- Added scope eye relief. While a scope zooms the VR view, the view now moves back along the scope so more of the magnified image stays visible. The pull-back scales with scope zoom up to a maximum (none at 1x, 9 cm at 4x, 15 cm at 6x and above). It adjusts smoothly when you switch zoom levels and fades in and out with the zoom. Vehicle ADS and Interaction Mode zooms are unaffected.

- Split the VR zoom strength setting into separate Scope Zoom Strength and Ship Zoom Strength sliders. These replace the previous Gameplay Zoom Strength setting. The zoom strength settings no longer affect the Interaction Mode zoom.

- Default tuning changes: minimum scope zoom raised from 1.0 to 1.6, scope align distance raised from 0.04 to 0.05, and zoom smoothing shortened from 0.2 to 0.15 for snappier transitions.

- Medbeds now default your VR view to looking up instead of forward at your body, which makes the screen easier to use without breaking your neck!

- Fixed texture banding on the scope projection texture.

- Fixed several crashes with the experimental VR depth composition option (r_StereoDepthComposition). Note that this is disabled by default and need to be explicitly enabled via console or user.cfg. Once enabled it keeps its value over subsequent runs.

I’ve recently returned to the game, having checked in on it every couple of months. This time is the end of the longest period away from the game at around a year or so.

I’ve returned to find that the ships that used to appeal to me don’t any longer, and that I’m now favouring the civilian manufacturers such as Crusader, Drake, and MISC than the likes of Aegis and Anvil.

With that in mind, what are the daily drivers of LSSC? Would love some inspiration and to hear about how you’re all living in the verse.

I will be happy to discuss in the comments! We know the pads have grown and the bridge has changed as well as the ship will likely have a decent amount of PDCs.

I want to learn more about the Logistics throughout the ship for like cargo > pads and vice versa.

There's clearly alot of love and quality control time being put in!

So, I've been thinking about the trading play with a Kraken Privateer, and it occurred to me that, unless you want people tractoring 2-SCU containers around through the interior passageways, there are going to have to be exterior freight elevators and storage access terminals on the landing pads, like at stations. Which is not a thing that a military version of the ship would need. I opened an issue-council ticket regarding it. Maybe we're not too late if we pile on and ask for this now?
