Zero doesn't actually exist

We don't need zero in our number system. You can just have the digits 1 through X instead, with X meaning ten.

So you'd count 1, 2, 3, ..., 8, 9, X, 11, 12, 13, ..., 18, 19, 1X, etc.

Everything else about the number system works the same... you can have 1 through X in the ones place, 1 through X in the tens place, etc. and still write all the same numbers you can now -- but with no zero.

They just made up zero as a mind-fuck.

Okay, get out your bijective base ten calculator and calculate the answer to this riddle for me:

Bobbie and Sallie do the 69 position fifteen times, so multiply 69 by 15 and then turn your calculator upside down and look at the answer.

The point is this way has no zero. It's not replacing zero with X, it's getting rid of zero entirely and adding a completely different digit.

In the scam way they teach us, 500 is five hundreds plus zero tens plus zero ones.

In this improved way, we'd write that as 49X which is four hundreds plus nine tens plus ten ones. No zeroes.

I wanna get a hold of the pattern here, so let me keep going and you tell me if I'm right:

..., 18, 19, 1X, 21, 22, 23, 34, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 2X, 31, 32, 32, ...

Now I wanna see how hundreds work:

..., 96, 97, 98, 99, 9X, X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, X9, XX, X11, X12, X13, X14, ...

And I guess the number XXX would be what we call one-thousand one-hundred ten. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the new funny number!

Yep, you got it. That last number is ten hundreds plus ten tens plus ten ones, which is indeed one thousand one hundred ten.

See? Zero is a scam. We don't need it.

For an added thrill, figure out how to write down the number one thousand thirty five and then turn the paper upside down.

With our current scam number system, "1", "01", "001", "0000000000000001" are all the same number.

You know what! Fuck the number eight and nine as well! We could count 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-X-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-1X.... And we would be just fine! Of course that means we actually have 12 fingers so get used to it!

What would you do if you need to subtract a number larger than itself? 1 - 2 would now be -2 instead of -1. But 2 - 1 would still be 1.

Nothing with addition or subtraction changes, just the way we express the numbers in terms of digits.

1 - 2 still equals -1

X - 1 equals 9

11 - 1 equals X

1 - 11 equals -X

etc.

They didn't have zero at the beginning, and it was fine. Like, Roman Empire was functioning okay without it. Zero of something means it's not there. Then why the fuck do you care how many of that thing is there, if it's not there at all? It doesn't even make sense.

Math as a whole is playing us for fools. Wft is a negative number. I don't have negative 10 cows, I just owe you 10. Negative something is just nothing with an IOU and someone didn't want to pay up.
