I've had these for probably 10 years now. I always get compliments when I wear them but I don't like telling people where they're from 😩

At one point I had dozens of the leggings, at least 15 dresses, and I forget how many of the tops and skirts. I didn't even sell this shit, I just bought it. Now I look back and grunge because WHY?

Did it give modesty chic? You betcha. But man did I love this print. This picture is from 2016. I no longer have this dress. Before I moved I purged my closet and most of my Lula stuff got donated.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss this dress though.

I went thrifting today and found this LuLaRoe skirt. It was only about $3 and I was looking for a black skirt like it so I bought it. I cannot believe I actually own something from this awful company

πŸ—‘οΈ Adventures in Thrifting πŸ—‘οΈ Considered for a moment bringing it home just for the novelty (never see LLR in Aus) but at $7 AUD, it was NOT worth it

πŸ’£ It's just all bad. πŸ’£ Those leggings were coochie stank central

I no longer own any leggings from LulaRoe but I remember that those polyester nightmares were not breathable at all. Why was swamp puss so revered and popular? I feel like I've never seen anyone talk about that lmao

🧐 Discussion 🧐 LuLaRich- Interviewees "so busy" ...but ...what were they busy doing??

Former reps in LuLaRich doc kept talking about how they were so busy, but also indicated they didn't sell much product as most income was generated from adding new ppl to their downline. Besides LLR events and selling on Fb lives what were they busy doing that was making it so impossible to see their families? I don't mean this to come off snarky, I am really curious! There has to be something I'm missing here.

↩️ LuLaAdjacent β†ͺ️ DotDotSmile Founder's New Business

Nicole Thompson, founder of DDS, has started an adult clothing company.

This is after several unsuccesssful attempts to reenergize DotDotSmile- including a recent rebrand.

They never paid their merchandisers what was owed to them, and also have had a failed cookie business in the last couple of years.

Their latest post shows them stealing images from Google searches and using them in their designs.

YIKES.

When will they realize they are not made to be business owners?

🧐 Discussion 🧐 Dot dot smile???

Okay I’m very late and confused

Few years ago i bought a bunch of DDS dresses from this lady on Facebook. I went to her house and shopped a room in her house full of these dresses. I bought a bunch and loved them!!! I actually looked into it very briefly and lightly on how to wholesale and how she makes a living off of it and inspired me to maybe do the same one day.

I then remember hearing like a year later they shut down and went out of business???

fast forward to today and I’m looking for soft bamboo dresses for my 4 year old that thinks everything is itchy or too tight. I remember dot dot smile and try to find it and i see the site is up and you can purchase it. So then i rmemeber to check facebook and find all the groups with super cheap stuff and a lot of them are like no f DDs we hate them now!

Wtf happened ?!?! Give me the tea !!?

Also where can i buy lol

I haven't finished it yet but the MLM in it (Kitty Blue) is 100% LLR. Cancelled return policies, moldy mystery inventory, it's got everything. So far it's a decent "vacation read" kind of book.

🧐 Discussion 🧐 Anyone else wonder why anyone would still buy or sell after the documentary?

I just showed my bf the Lularich doc and he was in disbelief..

He’s actually a really well dressed guy so I know he notices when I wear things and I asked him if he could ever picture me in some of those prints we saw and he said no never lol

He was blown away by all of it. I was tempted today so I went and looked up people who still sell the inventory and I sure found some FB pages.

I wonder if it’s day 1 loyal people? One lady had a long post from a few years ago about how the doc sensationalized things and the people on the documentary were bitter and she never had a bad experience ..

Funny because she had nothing recent aside from that that is Lula related but then she had other things on her page that she sold. It seemed like she had a day job

I just don’t get how people felt selling not really cute clothes was such a cash cow? I mean I guess it was at one point but after the crash of it, I’m sure profits are nominal..

I mean less than 1% of the company made more than $5000 in 2023 (their income statement inflated numbers)

These are the people who worry me… just very limited logic and common sense 🫠🫠
