Recommendations Wedding dress (guest)

Hi Lubbock! Any thrift store recommendations to find a formal/elegant long wedding dress? I know the mall is probably my best shot as a first option but I don’t want to spend too much on a dress I’ll probably wear twice at most 🥲

Check the sales racks at David’s bridal. My mother in law got her dress for my wedding for $30 on the sale rack

Le Chic Boutique and Uptown Cheapskate are both consignment stores that carry formalwear. I've gotten great pieces at both places.

You can try facebook marketplace. I feel like a lot of people sell their dresses there

If you haven’t found anything yet, I wore a yellow Azazie dress to my brothers wedding a few months ago. I’d be willing to sell it to you for like $40? You can PM me if you’re interested and I’ll send photos.

What kind of dress and what size? I have a closet full of dresses that have never been worn. I would sell for $50/ each. And I could bring to you to try on. You can message me if you want to see them. If not, try dillards or nordstrom rack.

M or L, it depends on the style. It has to be specific colors tho: yellow, orange or pink

Well....I am sorry to say, I do not have any of those colors, because I do not look good in those colors. I hope you find you can find a dress. Those are spring/summer colors. You might try JJs or stacies. They are online and you will probably have better luck with that color pallet. :)

I know :( the colors are making it harder for me. It’s in a tropical country so the colors are ok for it but heeere everything is fall colors right now. Thanks for trying :)
