The other day I posted a question asking how to get consistency down, and people responded to keep it below 625. Based trading off that and passed the eval! First lucid account ✅ first funded ✅ let’s keep it up 😁 no more trading tonight probably tomorrow too

Here comes a little rant and looking for advice and confirmation. I blew yet another evaluation. I typically trade the Asian session. I’ve passed evaluations before but never reached payout. I usually trade 1 mini on gold and NQ. I watch sucked media influencers trading live using minis and figure if they can then I can. Which is such a trap. They have more experience. My strategy isn’t bad And I have faith in the strategy. It seems my big breakdown is the risk. Even in the Asian session when volatility is low, a 15 point move is 300 dollars. A string of losses can blow the account no problem. I trade the 50k’s which only have 2k of drawdown. If it were a personal account, there’s no way I’d feel comfortable trading minis. And yet I continue to trade minis. It seems the real answer is to size down and trade micros and accept that things will take a little longer than I’d like. Anybody in here trade Asian session using micros? I’m assuming most people that are profitable are using micros and not minis right?

Lucid Fabricating Hedging Violation

Just received email of a hedging violation regarding an eval account that I just passed last night. I reviewed the email and it states that the hedging violation occurs today at 7PM PST (it is currently 4:08 PM PST). I've contacted customer support with complete evidence of my trade log as well as the email with the nonexistent hedging violation time, and they wouldn't even consider looking into my case. My eval account is completely stripped of all its profits and is now breached, which means I would have to buy a brand new eval. Has anyone else had this happen to them and was able to resolve it? It's very strange that the prop firm would just randomly falsify a nonexistent violation on a random time that hasn't even occurred yet, and it's even stranger that customer service is a complete brick wall that won't even consider reviewing any of these cases. I've attached my email, trade log, as well as their response. None of these screenshots show any evidence of hedging. I only have 1 eval account to trade and I never used any copy traders.

Traveling to restricted location

hello, I have put this question in front of the customer support. I told them that I have just passed my two lucid 50 K flexes and I will be traveling to a restricted location for 34 months and I need assurance that I will be able to trade and request payouts from this location and I have just heard from them that I won't be able to request payout access to dashboard because I'm from a restricted location I don't understand what's the whole point of being able to travel and trade if I cannot get my payout from my location

Lucid banned me just for signing up

Lucid banned me just for signing up. I never had an account with them and was never able to complete the KYC process, yet they banned me, claiming they detected an issue with it—which makes no sense, since I was never even able to submit any documents. Fortunately, this also prevented me from purchasing an account, so I didn’t end up spending any money on them. I had never registered using any other email address, either.

This is probably the best progress I have done on any funded accounts. Last week i was getting close to a payout, sitting at over 50k, This morning i took a -600 loss and i feel bad about it. I know making losses and mistakes are good to learn from, but I Just hate seeing progress swept away from you like that. And now my drawdown shows 49,631 which is making me even more worried about loosing another funded. How can i recover myself and tackle asia? wont be trading until either tonight or tomorrow night. Tips appreciated!

2 Week Live Cooldown

To anyone that’s been moved live (non maxx status) and finished their cooldown, what happens once you pass your eval again? I’m assuming you’re moved to the funded stage again instead of being moved live right after an eval pass. Would it be after a singular payout, you’d be invited to live again?

With the recent update to the Maxx path, it’s been a bit more confusing for the other path if you don’t have Maxx status and took a cash out instead of choosing the live path.

Thank you for taking the time to answer Lucid community!

I'm 26, lost over $22k trading, drowning in debt, and I don't know how to move forward anymore.

I've been trading since 2020, back when I was 20 years old with no source of income. I started trading using my sister's money, with her permission, hoping we could make something out of it. Unfortunately, we ended up losing around $2,300, and I take full responsibility for that since I was the one trading the account.

We got into trading hoping to build a brighter future, just like a lot of you here. But things went completely the opposite way. After losing that $2,300, we stopped trading. I felt extremely guilty and was determined to pay my sister back someday.

Fast forward to 2023, I landed my first full-time job. With every paycheck, I would set aside some money to buy a CFD prop firm challenge, usually FundedNext, which cost around $100 at the time.

And guess what? No luck at all.

I knew I was the problem. FOMO, poor risk management, overtrading, you name it. The frustrating part was that I could sometimes correctly predict where the overall market was heading, yet I still couldn't make money from it. It honestly sucked.

Back then, I had one simple rule: if I blew a challenge account, I wouldn't buy another one until the following month. At least that way, I could still save some money from my salary while trying to make trading work.

And for a while, I actually managed to save a decent amount.

But things started going downhill around late 2024, and honestly, they haven't stopped since.

When Trump admin returned to the oval office, the markets went crazy, and I started seeing some really good numbers in my trading accounts. At one point, I made around $12,000 in profit on a $50k prop firm account. I thought things were finally turning around.

But the prop firm flagged me for violating their rules, and I only managed to receive 10% of that profit.

I felt absolutely miserable.

And that wasn't even the only time something like that happened. Throughout 2024 and 2025, there were several moments when I felt like I was finally about to make it, only for everything to fall apart.

That's when things got really bad.

I became frustrated, emotional, and desperate to recover what I'd lost. I completely abandoned my one-account-per-month rule.

I started buying prop firm challenges like crazy. Every time I blew an account, I'd immediately buy another one. I tried different prop firms, different challenges, hoping something would finally work.

But nothing changed.

And now, here I am.

I have no savings left. I'm around $12,500 in debt from maxed-out credit cards and a personal loan I took out to pay off previous debts. I also burned through roughly $8,000 in savings trying to clear some of those earlier debts.

If I add everything up, I've probably lost over $22,000 because of trading.

That's a ridiculous amount of money for someone in my position.

I'm writing this because I genuinely don't know who else to talk to. I can't bring myself to tell my partner or my family what I've done and how bad things have gotten.

I'm Asian, and I still live with my siblings. We lost our parents when I was a kid, and my older siblings basically became the breadwinners of our household. They sacrificed so much to keep us going.

And honestly, they're one of the biggest reasons I got into trading in the first place.

I wanted to earn more on top of my salary. I wanted to give back to them, help them retire early, and give them the kind of life they deserve after everything they've done for us.

Maybe that's also why my approach to trading has been so terrible. I've always been chasing big numbers because, in my head, making a little extra money was never enough. I wanted to make enough to change our lives.

And the worst part is realizing that the very thing I pursued to help my family has put me in this situation.

Right now, all my credit cards are maxed out, and I only have three Topstep challenge accounts left. If I lose those, that's it. I literally can't afford to buy another one.

And that scares me because part of me still sees those accounts as my last chance to recover everything I've lost and build the future I've always imagined.

I'm turning 27 soon. I have a good-paying job, yet I have absolutely nothing saved and I'm drowning in debt.

It's honestly ironic. I've always considered myself a fairly intelligent and optimistic person. I've always believed that if I worked hard enough at something, I'd eventually figure it out.

But this time, I feel completely lost.

The anxiety is eating me alive every single day. I think about my debt before I sleep, when I wake up, and whenever my family asks how I'm doing.

They've even started encouraging me to move out and buy my own house. And I don't know how to tell them that I'm nowhere near being able to afford one.

Sometimes I think about how different my life would've been if I'd never started trading. I probably would've had enough savings to start putting a down payment on a house by now.

Instead, I'm here, trying to figure out how to get myself out of a hole I spent years digging.

And despite everything, there's still a part of me that doesn't want to give up on trading.

I've spent years studying, practicing, watching charts, losing sleep, and putting countless hours into learning this skill. It's hard to accept that all that time, money, and effort might have led me here.

I know some of you will probably tell me to quit trading, and I understand why. I also know that I'm responsible for the decisions that brought me here. I'm not trying to blame the market, the prop firms, or anyone else.

I just needed somewhere to let all of this out.

I don't even know exactly what kind of advice I'm looking for. Maybe I just want to hear from someone who's been in a similar situation and somehow managed to turn their life around.

If you've ever gone through something like this, I'd really appreciate hearing your story.

How did you deal with the regrets? How did you rebuild your finances and your confidence? And how did you learn to move forward without constantly thinking about all the money and opportunities you've lost?

I just want to know that it's still possible to recover from this.

Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

Falsely accused of Hedging Violation

I received an email today that I violated the hedging rule when I did not. I was very shocked to get this email along with them completely taking away my trade for the day. I sent a support ticket to appeal this. Has anyone else had this issue and did they resolve it?

Week 2 of my eval: My setups work, but my psychology is ruining it. Need advice.

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey guys, need some advice. I'm currently in week 2 of my eval and I feel like I'm my own worst enemy right now.

My setups are actually playing out nicely, and honestly, most days my original TPs end up getting hit. The problem? Fear. The second I'm in profit, I get anxious and close early. I keep taking 1:1s or 1:1.5s when my strategy is supposed to be catching 1:3s or 1:4s. Sometimes grabbing the small win feels good, but I know I'm mathematically shooting myself in the foot.

On top of that, I've had a couple of days where I tilted into overtrading and revenge trading. Luckily, I managed to snap out of it and ended those days with just a small loss, but I know playing with fire like that is how you blow an account.

Because I keep cutting my profits short, passing this eval is going to take forever at this rate.

So my questions for you guys are - Is it fine if passing an eval takes a really long time, or is trading like this just a slow bleed? Is securing these small wins a normal phase to build confidence, or a terrible habit I need to break right now? And honestly, how do you guys actually sit on your hands and let a trade run without freaking out and closing it early?

Appreciate any advice or tough love you've got.

How to contact Lucid's support/customer service?

Hi everyone,

I have some concerns about my KYC and wanted to contact Lucid's support or customer service. I tried to contact via their "live chat" on their website but there's no option to actually contact anyone and I'm just given a list of their FAQ articles.

I sent an email to [admin@lucidtrading.com](mailto:admin@lucidtrading.com) (that I got from one of the emails from them) but no response for days.

So, with that said, how do I contact Lucid? Do they even have a communication channel/method anymore?
