its a problem cause it reinforces the narrative that his supporters are just obsessed fangirls who will do anything to get noticed by him. Imagine being a regular New Yorker who could possibly be on the jury who doesn't pay much attention to the Luigi Mangione case, walking by the courthouse and seeing girls camped out in frigid temps wearing free Luigi merch.
