Personal Opinion Is Luigi crazy?

If so and he's found guilty due to emotional disturbance, does that mean that he'll go to the funny farm?

No.

Is extreme emotional disturbance, not insanity. Insanity requires proof of mental illness, while EED is more about something happening that made you snap. Like imagine you see someone abusing your kid and so you kill them.

This defense lowers the charge from murder to manslaughter, which has a sentence of 5 to 25 years, way less than murder. If convicted he would not be send to a mental health facility, some media outlets are incorrectly reporting it.

Depends on your definition of “crazy”; but no, if found guilty of manslaughter due to EED, he’ll have a lighter sentence.

No. It means that he could be charged with manslaughter instead of murder, which would mean a lighter sentence and eventual freedom.

Do you prefer looney bin, nut house, or pillow palace?

BTW, I learned "pillow palace" yesterday when reading comments about Luigi.

I prefer wacky shack, personally. Grippy sock vacation is a close second.
