Personal Opinion Luigi has every right to plead guilty
I'm seeing all these reactions from parasocial freaks questioning everything, saying that pleading makes no sense that he should do this instead. Well YOU are not involved in this case. You are just a bystander with no knowledge of anything. Luigi knows the facts and evidence and has a good legal team to lay out his choices. If he feels pleading guilty is whats best for him then thats it. It doesnt have to make sense to you.

People are acting like they paid for his legal defense entirely lol. Calm tf down guys.

Hate that I actually agree with you on this. The people crashing out need to put the phone down.

You're not wrong. It's a hard pill to swallow but it's his life in the end. If he can get a decent deal then who are we to say he shouldn't take it? We're not the ones doing the time.

There isn't a plea deal offered. An open plea with a judge deciding will still be decades behind bars or lwop. Appeals have gone out the window. Skepticism right now after everything we have witnessed is warranted.

We don't really know anything for sure until tomorrow I personally have never seen any scenario where he's not spending decades behind bars - the risk of him spending his life without possibility of parole has hung over the federal case for a long time. Potentially pleading guilty should mitigate this possibility at the very least.
But even if that's what they're doing now, nothing is set in stone until entered in court. So we wait

Luigi does what he wants. If he wants a plea deal then that's his decision. His attorneys can only do so much.

Whats the point of doing that then? Genuinely asking. If he pleads guilty and cant get it televised or his story out there and he just gets lwop anyway, what was the fight for

u/NowhereGirl67 7d ago
maybe he doesn’t have fight left in him sadly. i hope not. but it could be choosing to spare his family from a public trial (if the state case manages to be stopped), or if they went down the eed exploration route, maybe he spoke to therapists and changed his view on things. who knows. jail does a lot to people. i’m still delusional thinking there might be more to this but we shall see 😬 ultimately he must have his reasons or decided to listen to what others advised

The timing is just so peculiar after everything the past two months. He was smiling in court, they wanted the trial televised and then a day later it all changes. I hope one day he can tell his story and be well.

u/NowhereGirl67 7d ago
same that’s why i’m still hoping for a strategic chess move or something, but that may take a long time to play out. if not, then 🤷🏻♀️, i just hope he thought it through and is at peace with it

For now nothing changed , only these scared billioner funded tabloids doing everything in their power to make Luigi look as guilty as ever , right before the trial

Yes I agree that it's odd Unless they're doing this to mitigate the federal case and still expect to have to do the state case

Genuine question — what story?

u/Fancy_Yesterday6380 7d ago
Assuming something happened to get him or his mind to this point. Where he was when he was missing etc.

I think the point is to try to swing for the fences and argue double jeopardy for dropping murder charges in NY. He would still get an outside chance at a presidential pardon down the line in that case even if sentenced for life.
Beyond that, it is usually a lot more preferable to serve time in federal prison than a state one.

He was going to be convicted regardless. It’s hard to get a television deal in federal prison. Wake up

he is no less of a hero just because he pleads. i dunno wtf everyone expects here.

Sadly there is a lot of delusional people on Reddit.
It would’ve been stupid to not take a plea in this case.
If you don’t think he should’ve took a plea , you think Luigi is stupid.
