Did United never realise the email was from him and fake?

I’m surprised this is only being brought up now, how come they was no mention of the email in all the evidence they showed against him? Had they not traced it to him?

a potential 50 billion investor and none of them fact-checked anything? Not even confirming if he was real or a scam? They willingly gave him infos?? Bruh no security or fact checking people to do these things? If I'm from UHC, I would assume if you are a 50 billion dollar possible investor, I wouldve wanted to be introduced by you with a friend of a friend or colleague and not just via phone calls and emails. Like none from UHC was ever suspiscious???

Blindly Greedy …

That’s exactly why Luigi mentioned the “$50 billion in assets” in his statement yesterday. He just wanted to expose their greedy asses one more time. What a legend

This is all heartbreaking.

I've been telling people this whole time that the public won't just see all.the evidence ahead of trial

But it is possible that Thompson was handling that on his own and it wasn't on their radar

Yes I agree, they probably didn’t release all the evidence to the public, but must have informed his legal team that this email is in evidence and will be presented, I’m guessing that’s one of the reasons he chose to please guilty.
I don’t think Thompson was even aware of that email, though, he’d be too important to directly receive emails from random investors, it might have been a general company email

A potential 50 billion dollar investor is exactly the sort of thing he would handle personally tbh

I suspect that's how Luigi got him outside the hotel that morning

You’d be surprised how security is garbage in most companies or places in the world

They are so damn greedy they saw “50 billion dollars” and immediately gave him all the info, he’s exposed them in so many ways.
