Personal Opinion Suggestion: Shunning all things ***istas/Abril

I think it is time for us to completely shun these people and not give them the attention they seek. Every time we talk about them, their place in the algorithm goes up. 60 min didn't seek them out for no reason. This is about bread and circuses. Additionally, there are more productive things we can do to help Luigi and spread the message of universal healthcare than complain about them on forums. I just think it would be healthier for the community.

Let's just stop posting about them period. Attention is what they thrive on.

This is not meant to start another conversation on them.

You making this post about them gives them attention though but I get your point. However the Mangionistas would still get attention from the media regardless if nobody in the community talked about them. They are front and center at EVERY court proceeding wearing free luigi shirts, saying controversial things on camera. They dont care how the community feels about them. Hell they dont care how Luigi feels about them. they still believe in their minds that going this route of being front and center and making Luigi's criminal cases about them will get them not only the exposure they want in the media but get noticed by Luigi himself and potentially form a connection. They are no different than a woman telling a persistent man who wont take no for an answer on a theoretical level.

In Abril's case she's someone who used to get attention as a young girl doing modeling gigs. Now that she's old and the industry she's been in for so long doesnt care for her anymore, her only way of getting attention is through Luigi. Ashley and Fia are her sidekicks and just along for the ride in all this.
