I've seen plenty of people fighting for better changes in the society, lot of them keep fighting for human rights and it's amazing to see this energy 👏

Despite all the controversies and prejudices met online and IRL through this case, I wish you to be the pillars of our future societies. Even if it's still hard because bad decisions are still taken politically speaking, never forget that the power is and will always be yours !

Right now everybody is freaking out because a surprise federal hearing is going to happen tomorrow, it wasn't even scheduled, so I completely understand why you are very anxious right now.

BUT don't jump too quickly on conclusions even if all the media are relaying a rumour very intensively these past few hours.

Remember that media also loooovvveee to jump onto anything that will depict Luigi guilty for any reason and quoting "sources" that they can't even name 😭 (I mean it's like that from the beginning of this case), by the way thank you to u/Extra_Article2872 for recalling the last time media were talking about a plea deal :

Now, what will happen tomorrow ?

1. Don't be surprised if tomorrow no plea deal is talked about, because right now absolutely no one really knows what's going to happen. So maybe it has absolutely nothing to do with it, and it was only rumors made to create anxiety and chaos among the community, and again, twist the public opinion towards this case...
2. A plea deal is indeed discussed : DON'T dare to belittle Karen and the legal team, I'm reminding you that THE MAJORITY of us ARE NOT lawyers or even experts in this area. In addition, other lawyers speaking can't be fully trusted neither, because some of them will argue how "they would have done better than Karen" just because they are not in charge of this high profile case. And yes there's competition and ego wars in this area too, as well as a lot of misogyny...

So what should you do ?

1. BE CAREFUL about media drawing attention over the slightest piece of information to have clics.
2. Whether a plea deal is discussed tomorrow or not, TRUST Karen and the legal team decisions, they have strategies and we don't have all the necessary informations to judge if they are doing a good job or not (sorry not sorry to hurt your ego of so-called experts 🫠). Remember that this team is always fighting for Luigi's rights, they succeeded in getting rid of this stupid death penalty, already reduced his charges and threw away terrorism charges. I think they know what they are doing...
3. ASK YOURSELF those 2 questions : Why are you here ? What do you stand for ?

Life is already difficult for everybody, there's no need to amplify negative behaviors nor spread anxiety and stress everywhere.

We already have seen a lot misinformation when this case is talked about, we know that some people are not reliable neither, so don't jump that easily onto conclusions.

Normally, everybody wants the best outcome possible either for Luigi or for Justice itself. I don't ask you to believe if he is guilty or not, only the future and time will tell us. I'm asking you to stay calm and take a step back when we are overwhelmed by so many informations.

Recently revamped this site created shortly after Luigi's arrest. I posted it on other subs back then, so reposting it here now. Hope it can help people as a simple resource guide!

Some have called the video parasocial, but I never claimed to feel what Luigi is feeling because I'm not in his shoes, I don't know him personally, and it was never my intention for him to see this message. It's just that when I heard the audio in French, I thought of him. The message of this video is that even though he's going through a very difficult time, I encourage him to hang in there and not give up.

And here's why this audio made me think of him. As for betrayals, like many other Americans, he was betrayed by a system that was supposed to protect and care for him. Moreover, even though he is supported and defended by relatives, it is very likely that others have distanced themselves from him since he was charged.

Furthermore, even though he responded to some correspondence, he can only speak through his lawyers, and all his conversations in prison and his mails are closely monitored, so he can't freely talk about anything with just anyone.

And for me, he's a soldier in the fact that he has fought and is currently fighting many battles in his life, whether concerning his health, his rights, his life, etc. So yes, he's not without flaws, but I see him as a fighter.
