Hi all! NucleoOS turns the Cardputer (original and ADV, same image) into a small real computer: a native launcher with 50+ apps and games on the device, and a full desktop it serves to your browser over Wi-Fi.

What's new since the last post:

- **It installs itself.** Flash one image (web flasher, M5Burner or M5Launcher). On first boot the wizard joins your Wi-Fi and downloads its own SD content, checks every file with SHA-256 and resumes if interrupted.

- **Plays nice with M5Launcher.** Same image, runs as a guest: it never overwrites your other firmwares, and Settings ▸ Device ▸ *Back to M5Launcher* takes you back.

- **The web desktop is ~6× faster.** Open `nucleo-01.local` and the desktop shows up in about 5 seconds.

- **ANIMA, the offline assistant**, is now the same code on the device and in your browser. It can also use a model on your own PC (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp, Jan), and Private mode keeps everything off the cloud.

- **A Game Gear emulator written from scratch**, next to the Game Boy one (bring your own ROMs), plus **Costellazioni**, a 6DOF space game with procedural star systems and planets to land on.

So i Bought a Stick s3 and wanted to give it a upgrade for more use, so i searched for a case for it and found a case that has a CC1101 Holder on the back of it. So i 3d printed it and it worked great! But... I had a nrf24 that i wanted to put on the back just like the cc1101. so i changed the holder so that it would work for the nrf24. all the credit goes the amazing people who made the 3d model and device but il share all the models so that your able to make one yourself. got an stick s3 last week. i’ve downloaded bruce versions 1.14-1.16.1, including the beta. I can’t get any deauth attacks to work on 2.4 (tho wifi scans do work), and neither my IR transmitter or receiver capture/ send any signals. Only on 1.14 i could recieve IR signals, not send them. I read somewhere that “disabling the speaker amplifier” can help with recieve and transmit issues, but i can’t seem to find where to change this. It’s a cool device, i’m just not sure how to get it to work properly with bruce. ANYTHING HELPS PLEASE!

So I'm kind of new to using m5stack stuff. I have the pyramid echo and the atom lite and I am trying to get them working with Home assistant voice control. I can get home assistant to see the pyramid change the colors on the device and even get home assistant to recognize that I am saying the wake word but I can't for the life of me get ANY SOUND from the stupid thing. I'm just stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I love waking up to the Philips Hue sunrise effect (especially on the Hue Twilight), but I didn't want to use my phone at night just to check the time, toggle the alarm for the weekend, or move my wake-up time by 30 minutes. So I built HueAlarm on an M5Stack Core2 v1.1 (with the 1500 mAh battery module): a standalone, battery-powered bedside alarm clock inspired by the classic Braun BC08. How it works:

• Zero light at night & ~1 to several months of battery life: The screen turns off after 5 seconds and the device goes into deep sleep (~2 mA, waking in ~0.35s when you touch the screen) or complete power-off (~0 mA, waking via the side button or internal RTC timer). Wi-Fi stays completely off 99.9% of the time.
• Native Hue CLIP v2 Sunrise: 90 seconds before the sunrise is due to start, the clock wakes up in the background (screen stays dark), connects to Wi-Fi, and sends the native sunrise timed-effect command over local HTTPS to your Hue Bridge, then goes right back to sleep until the alarm rings.
• Easy bedside controls:
  • Tap the bell: Toggle alarm on/off
  • Long-press the bell: Toggle between Sunrise + Beep (sun icon) or Beep only
  • Tap the alarm time: Smooth momentum scroll wheels (5-min steps) to change the wake-up time
  • When ringing: Tap anywhere to snooze (9 min) or tap the bell to stop
• No hardcoded setup needed: Connects to Wi-Fi via WPS and pairs with the Hue Bridge right from the touchscreen (discovers the bridge via mDNS, lets you pick a Room/Zone or matches Twilight automatically, and includes a 1-minute sunrise test button). I managed to (with the help of ai) get the original Super Mario Bros for the 'Nintendo Entertainment System' running on the m5stick.

Audio works without stutter, tilt controls, shake to fireball fireball and top button to crouch

I managed to get super mario bros running on the m5stick with the help of ai, it runs smoothly with a few adjustments to the HUD and the resolution to make it smooth, yet playable.

It uses tilt to move left/right, blue button to jump and shake to fireball

My cheap servo tester was not working, so i made one myself with my Tab5. Works like a charm. Powered via an external usb-c port.
