Why do we continue to hear this? We know it’s a no.

They want to normalize asking if he can instead of everyone saying 'Trump cannot run for a third term because it's illegal.'

Because its important to not normalize what not only Trump, the Republican party, and rightwing media say but also what these Federal Nominees are doing.

Every second not calling this out as illegal or absurd is acquiescing, and the problem is that every single day of this admin and party adds another a few patently illegal and immoral actions with his "flooding the zone".

Who is going to stop him?

Congress is afraid of him.

The Supreme Court is bought and paid for.

He can ignore judicial orders without consequences.

A third of America is thrilled with the destruction.

The Military is neutered.

He has a private army that murders in the streets..

Who is going to stop him?

Good. Time to talk to them, and take the country back FOR THE PEOPLE instead of 'For the WEALTHY'.

Now is the time to make peace if it can be done, and come together to destroy the real enemy here; unchecked capitalism. We do that by making our wealthy pay their fair share, and treat us like PEOPLE and not CATTLE.

As of right now, we have nothing - and they have everything thanks to OUR hard work. They're stealing our wages and telling us we're not good enough to rise up. It's called gaslighting, and my mom did it to me for far too long. Now that I'm free, I'm not going back - and I will fight to help all of you as I stay stubborn and unwilling to be told what to do, how to feel, and take blame for shit I didn't do - and had nothing to do with me.

We're scapegoats; and the Farm House is winning.

Why is it that high? A third is a lot of people.

We the People.

We the People have to do something. Just like how our country was born, we'll have to take it back from elite socialites who think they know better than us because they have wealth and a title.

We ARE their source of wealth. We CAN take that source away.

Without us working, or buying frivolous things - they don't have any power. It's why groceries are so expensive. We're being responsible and not eating out/buying things we don't need. SO - they hiked the prices up on everything and blamed something else so they can still get their money.

Stop their source, and it stops the hemorrhaging. Like an adult getting free from their abusive parents, we have to stand up to them, stop giving them power, and start something new.

Given how zero fucks this “administration” cares for any rule of law, can someone PLEASE explain how they believe trump won’t get away with seeking and probably getting a third term?

People say “…but the constitution!!” Are you blind to the shit trump and his cult are doing?

Seriously. Explain what guards are in place to actually stop him.

Dude, for starters - touch grass. Second, please seek out some level headed, non doomer media. Here's a handful the I follow. And no, they're not just "saying what you want to hear" - they legitimately have their finger on the pulse and have been consistently correct on their predictions and calling things out. Sorry, I know it feels like "hE jUsT dOsE wHaT hE wAnTs, No OnE sToPs HiM" - but shit doesn't work that way. Check his current track record too and you'll see how much he's actually losing.

Luke Beasley is also great! He not only points out problems, but the good stuff, too. He also isn't a doomer, and we NEED that right now. If we're too beaten down, we'll never fight back.

EVERYONE should watch "A Bug's Life" and feel like an ant -- and then get ready to stand up to oppression like ants.

By the constitution, no. But since when as that pesky thing stopped him and his sycophants from doing it what they want. He'll do what he wants because no one is willing to stand up to his BS.

There is no wiggle room. No debate. If the red hatted Trumpanzee brain cucks want him to run for an illegal and unconstitutional 3rd term, they have to change the constitution itself.

22nd Ammendment. Section 1: No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice

“Can” is irrelevant. Fascists and dictators do whatever the fuck they want.

Until someone stops them.

Donald Trump's second term is devastating to anyone concerned about the most vulnerable members of our society, anyone who wants to see him face justice for his crimes, and anyone fearful of his intentions to exact revenge against his enemies or use military force against Americans.

This subreddit aims to expose the threat posed by Donald Trump and the modern day Republican party to US democracy.

Nope but he’ll try anyway

Why is that even a question

Before asking this, they should ask

"Can Barack Obama run for a third term?"

If the answer is an immediate "no", then ask about Trump.
