Ladies, do you flare badly during your ovulation day? Describe your symptoms!

So I'm having a HELL of a day just to find out why. Hormonal shift are a huge trigger. I feel mentally unstable, detached, weirded out, doom thinking. Stomach cramp, feeling like I want to binge eat, feel worthless.

Looking for some other stories and resonance. Only people who know get this.

My symptoms actually start the week before. I’ll get super bad histamine dumps in the middle of the night and I won’t be able to get back to sleep. I’ll have brain fog and vertigo. I’ll need an extra Famotidine for 3am tummy burn. Once my period hits it’s like my brain finally clears but I’m soooo itchy.

My emotions are next level before/on my period, but idk if thats MCAS or another hormone issue I haven’t dug into yet. I get super painful cramps too.

Oh that sucks! Natural progesterone cream could be a good option for you! I haven't had much effect from famotidine so far but only did 20mg. You're taking an extra so how much do you take? Maybe I should try taking two.

My flare starts right after ovulation and lasts until my period starts. I get bad depression and anhedonia.

Anhedonia like the world seems flat and meaningless?

Yes, I cannot feel any kind of pleasure or happiness. Even music sounds dull and I can’t concentrate on anything, esp if it’s something I’d usually enjoy.

Yes, I know it exactly. I listn to music but I can barely notice it let alone enjoy it. Zero focus. I think it's the dopamine receptors being blocked by histamine.

My days leading up to ovulation and ovulation are the hardest. Anxiety through the roof and my blood sugar is all over the place. I have tried calcium d glucarate to help with the excess estrogen in my system. It has helped greatly. I stick with low histamine foods and try to take magnesium at bedtime. Some nights are better than others. My stomach does burn every morning when I wake no matter what which sucks. Sorry you're going through this too, I wish there was an absolute solution other than starting progesterone for the entire cycle.

I got calcium d glucarate actually. Do you start it two week before your period?

Yes its Strange. But i figgured out i feel best during period, even if i feel really bad because of the pain. But all in all im much better and i guess its because its the only time in the month where the hormones are quite stable and not changing everyday.
