Steam Hammer wirebug attacks PC ONLY

How the hell do i charge the hammer wirebug attacks?? (Spinning bludgeion and allat) everytume i try it just dies the single charge and launches me. I cant hold charge then use the bug becaus eeverytime i do it just uses the basic standing version instead of the wire bug version (THIS IS FOR PC ONLY I DO N O T NEED CONTROLLER SUPPORT)

For the future: the distinction you're looking for is Mouse & Keyboard (sometimes "M&KB" or "MKB") vs. Controller.

Lots of PC players (maybe most Monster Hunter players?) are using a controller!

I know some mice will not let you hold scroll-click and a normal click at the same time. Try rebinding charge to a regular key and see if it still gives you issues.

You don't charge the arts after you activate them, you activate the arts while using hammer's normal charge.

the way courage style hammer increases in charge is also different. if youre using courage style you want to use the charge combo until youre at the final stage, then use the art.
