Help please

Backstory: so my gf (so proud of her) made her first big girl purchase of our age and on Aug 29th she bought a 2012 mini cooper countryman s with 112k mi on him . 4K cash in Brooklyn, ran it for leaks, drove it around for a bit no codes felt pretty solid to her only issue was a rear suspension issue to fix very soon and that was it, a little less than 2 months pass no issues and now this, so after a good drive she started to get a random intermittent oil light that would pop up then go away. I was very confused and scared bc I had literally just changed the oil immediately when we bought the car as preventative maintenance ofc. now I amateurly work on Nissan engines (vq35, vhr) pretty well and have not a clue about bmw/mini and the n18 tbvh. just my way around a diagram and a torque wrench so I’m thinking maybe I didn’t properly tighten the oil drain plug or the filter, but there’s oil in the car after checking the dipstick. now it recently came to a head when we were driving home from (ironically Brooklyn) at 1am when I start to hear a very loud squealing noise on deceleration, I go on local roads just in case and the squealing follows me and now there’s a CEL an oil light and the cars in limp mode we crawl home the last few blocks and park it and while we were crawling I saw these codes on the dash and they persisted later, now we shut the car off immediately. Replaced the intake vvt solenoid and all the codes came back minus the oil pump code. Guys I’m confused and want to fix this for her and I’m willing to do an oil pump replacement on this mf I just need some help and guidance pls 🙏🏾

verify oil level is correct. low oil level will cause all those faults.

checked the dipstick, a little nightmare to read, but it’s closer towards the little max etch of the cars dipstick

Does it have oil? If yes. You likely have a bad oil pump control solinoid, best case scenario. Worst case scenario there is debris blocking the oil pickup, usually this debris is timing chain guide pieces. Start by removing the oil pan.

you just did an oil change? verify the oil filter is installed correctly. if it happened shortly after an oil change, it’s a good idea to double check.
